@Seul I hope you are doing OK mate, and I feel your pain. 24 hrs ago I was admitted as an emergency to the regions Stroke unit. Lucky to have my own room too. The NHS staff here have been outstanding. It has been the scariest experience of my life. Waiting for an MRI scan later today to rule out a stroke and find what caused my collapse. Being rushed through A&E on a trolley with loads of Dr's and Nurses shouting like you see in films was surreal.

We'll both bounce back though mate. Your a decent human being with a solid constitution. That will see you right. Take care dude.

I had a similar mini man vacation when I had my vasectomy.  A long weekend in bed eating leftover easter candy and watching Walking Dead on Netflix with no intrusions from my children.  I'd do it again.  Definitely worth losing your nuts over.  Probably not worth mystery brain trauma however.  Hoping for the best outcomes for both of you.

Side note… the nurse who "prepped" me for my vasectomy was crazy hot, like when she came to the waiting room to take me back my wife shot me dagger eyes while I was grinning ear to ear and waiving bye bye at her.  The nurse actually said to me "Forgive me but I like to put on lots of iodine, I just want to make sure it gets everywhere."

Nurses are real heroes, don't ever let anyone tell you differently.  At least I think she was a nurse... Do you tip nurses?
