What determines which side a zipper pull is on? I always thought the difference was male/female clothing. Is it a european/us thing, random, dealers choice?

Not sure if this is the correct thread…looking for feedback from others.

Considering either a Mister Freedom Mulholland Anniversary Edition jacket or a RMC M65 1st Type.

I’ve not seen either jacket in person, but based on the stuff I already have from both companies I know the quality will be exceptional.

          Cheers.

@QuantumMechanic I believe @Stuart.T has an RMC M65 1st Type so may be able to offer you some of his experience with said coat.

@QuantumMechanic @den1mhead is correct, I have an RMC 1st pattern M65. It is my favourite jacket. The finish is so good I could wear it inside out and you couldn't notice. I wanted an M65 but didn't want salapettes and I wear a lot of shoulder bags and they just get in the way.

It is very true to original spec, as you'd expect from RMC. I had a Buzz Ricksons M65 before this, which was pretty nice, but this one is exceptional. I plan on wearing it tomorrow so I'll x post to the RMC thread and let you know.

This may have been asked before.  Why can't the top button on the shirts be snap buttons?  I am wearing one of the heavier shirts (with snap buttons) and it is a b_tch to button at the neck with regular button.  There must be a reason for this.

On some shirts the thickness of the folded seams at that point prohibits the use of snaps.

Though one could presumably apply the snap base to the fabric before the collar is constructed. I guess that would drive the price up and perhaps may not be feasible for some reason.

                            Think it, be it.

                                Maybe so. Maybe not

Get a pair that are light and fit?  If you get a pair of Maui Jim or another really good brand that fits well you won't even know you are wearing them…

That's the thing, my Ray-Bans are light and they do fit. I have a pair of AO aviators that I don't wear much and those don't give me migraines at all. I think it's because the temple on the AO's are more linear, whereas, the RB's tend to curve around my head. Maybe that's putting extra pressure on my noggin and giving me the migraines

Then again, maybe the side of the head. A hat that’s 1/8” too tight will cause a headache in no time.

His wife says go buy a new suit, that’ll cheer you up. He passes by a tailor with a sign in the window that says. I’ll guess your suit size or the suit’s free. The guy walks in...The the tailor says 44 jacket 36 pants. The guy says you got it. The tailor says I’ll give you another chance,I’ll guess your underwear size. OK the guy size and the tailor guesses 34?... The guy says no it’s 30...To which the tailor replies...Wait for it...You must get awful migraines!
