Thanks guys! I was on the fence about sizing down to a 32, but the price was right and I figured if they didn't work, I could always find another happy home for them

They are a touch snug in the waist, but oddly enough, this material feels like it may have more stretch than my 714s. I like the more fitted look of these as sometimes cargos can be too baggy.

Now, I am debating on whether or not to hem my 714s into shorts…

@Dstauffer My two Cents: The heavy fabric is not perfect for Shorts as you really sweat easily. also, the front pockets sit pretty low on these Pants. It worked perfectly in the light fabric cargo pants (704?) but not so great in the 23 oz fabric.

Thanks Flo! I just realized I misspoke myself…its the 718s I'd turn into shorts...I agree, 23oz would be a bit heavy for shorts

So, here are some old pictures. I'd like to ask advice, as the fit always has been pretty baggy: do you think hemming would improve the look, making them appear a bit more tailored on the leg?

@Max Power I'm not sure that would help with the perception of baggy-ness. It would give them a cleaner look and stop them breaking so much below the knee.

@davito2 not at the moment, but we are starting to develop the work pant line a bit more over coming seasons. We have some brown duck cargos in the works, which is proabably the closest thing to these in the near future.

@Alex fingers crossed that a small quantity of the brown duck cargoes come as a tag size 28 when released
