This style of a shirt would absolutely benefit from side pockets - it's a surprisingly empty niche at the moment.

I know, and it is highly likely that we will do one. BUT, we have Haraki's western as a tried and trusted recipe.  Getting the western to market is a lot easier task than starting from scratch and resampling, sending back and forth to Japan etc etc….So, for the time you can have any model as long as it is a western, in any colour as long as it is black.....Send me an email if you are serious about wanting a CPO…

Looking at the fit pics (and I know I'm in the minority re: hand pockets on shirts in general) it's not such a long shirt that you wouldn't be able to use pants pockets for your hands.

So that's really the gig, I'd want to lengthen it to have it look balanced with side pockets, so the redesign is not insignificant….
