Happy to see this-I like the 666 and 634 but 888 is the one.

Still think the rear rise could be reduced a smidge and it would still retain everything everyone loves about the cut.

That's essentially what Self Edge's 633 is and it definitely works better for me.

They never seem as tapered as the 888. Plus selfedge measure stupid so I am unlikely to cop.

888 is a great cut as it is. The rear rise was the one thing I would tweak.

Can't believe those melton field coats didn't sell like hotcakes, seems like such a slam dunk to me, even if I didn't get one myself. I really wanted one but it never worked out. One of my favorite pieces of IH outerwear ever made.
