We aren't at the moment, there are just too many existing 888 iterations…..Plus, it's one of our most popular cuts, we're reluctant to tamper....

Still think the rear rise could be reduced a smidge and it would still retain everything everyone loves about the cut.

That's essentially what Self Edge's 633 is and it definitely works better for me.

They never seem as tapered as the 888. Plus selfedge measure stupid so I am unlikely to cop.

888 is a great cut as it is. The rear rise was the one thing I would tweak.
