If they ever make a longer whipcord type 3 I'll probably grab it. Sometimes I'm glad I'm tall and have a long torso because it keeps me from buying one of everything. -
Trying my hardest to break this one in! Best fitting Type III I have ever had.

I can't comment on those other jackets, but if you're looking for a suit of armor that's very warm with the texture and rigidity of carpet, look no further.

Thank you @chubacca. From what I see this particular fabric lends itself to lots of honeycomb and fade possibilities that are just stellar. I'm aiming for a Type III that isn't just another like all the many many I have had since my first (somewheres around 1969, when I was 12. I'm pretty sure my brother had one from about 1963, a year after its introduction as I recall.)

Usps dropped this off today, along with 8301S SBG. I was initially a little worried the sleeves would be a bit long but I think once the combs set in I’ll be golden. I can’t get over how soft it is for 19oz.

Great fit @Penny_pants . You’re right about the combs. I have this denim in the 666 cut and soft as it is now, it just gets better with wear and washing.

ORRRRRR Actuall the PERFECT fit for me would be the size small but with 26.5" sleeves, but that might be wishful thinking…

@matwllms If your in the US you could shoot Self Edge am email and see if any other the sleeves came out a bit long. Looks like they’ve got 2 smalls.

Thanks! I did exactly that! Alas, the sleeves and length were just too short… Waiting on a restock now, i suppose!

I just did my first ever hot wash last night and can confirm there was a little extra shrink in the sleeve and length that didn't come out from my initial hot soak.
