Everything in my being wants to watch 'mid 90s' my general world view is that everything culturally and musically has been a reinvention of what came before that year. It's just I personally cannot stand Jonah Hill. That said it may be different with him behind the camera.
We watched 'Mandy' last week. Bonkers is about the only word I can summon up to describe it. I can't say it was amazing, awful, or average. I've not really seen anything like it. Nicholas Cage does his thing x 1000 too.

@Jett129 oh, no doubt he seems a good guy, just never seem a film that he's made that's been my thing.

You know… it's about time I start watching Christmas Vacation nearly daily for the next month or so
It's gettin' there! We actually did our first Love Actually viewing already, even before Hallowe'en was done and dusted!

I was thinking this exact thing this past weekend.

Oh yeah, that's a great one. And Home Alone, of course. And The Snowman, with its lovely intro by Bowie in his short-lived 'nice cardie and a scarf' phase.

I watched a couple of trailers for mid-90s…anyone remember the film 'kids'?...used actual skater kids from Washington Square Park in NYC. When I used to visit a friend who lived in the village you'd see them skating in the park. Mid-90s looks like kids' little brother.

I thought the same thing. Looks like a newer version of Kids.
Still hyped to see it though. That was my era,
Skated everyday and have so many great memories from that time.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Watched "Rush" (1991) again. Great soundtrack thanks to Clapton, and it was fun seeing Gregg Allman as a drug kingpin. Solid flick.

I love that movie. There’s something special about the pace, performances and story. Low key but intense on all counts. Plus I’m a huge fan of JJL.
