I'm glad I missed people complaining about getting discounted Iron Heart.
The last guy who did so was on the receiving end of a biblical shitstorm. I’m on tapatalk (and holiday) so I’m not going to look up the link (sorry), but I think it was on the “Iron Heart USA” thread.
Good job, esteemed community
His Arguments where so senseless, the whole Brand Worth thing is Bullshite, People who blurb out those Phrases or even do those things (like trashing perfectly good clothes) don´t care even a 1% about the Environment.

Had dinner with @Danny RnH and Junior at their new pad (amazing btw) last night. Wine flowed, I'm a little slow today…..

I thought we were pretty tame by our standards. Thanks for coming. Always nice to see you and @Madame Buttonfly

Finally sold my business (a gym). Didn't nearly get back what I put into it as far as blood, sweat, and tears goes, but sometimes these things can't be judged that way.
Reason for selling? I'm sure you wanted money back, but I imagine it's not the main motivation.
I took 4 years off from engineering to run it (ran it for 9 years in total, doubled up with an engineering job for the first 4 and the last 1). It was a good experience but I always knew I was going to get back to engineering in the long run. Spent a lot of time in the last year refining the business model and setting up systems so that it could keep going after I left. Felt like I had done all I came to do and it was time to step away.
Had a business partner, and the way everything was structured it wouldn't make sense for one of us to be a "silent partner." So in the end he got the autonomy and full ownership, and I got liquidity and the ability to focus on my current career and not worry about how the business is doing.

Here's an interview with Ron Stallworth, a black cop who infiltrated the Ku Klux Klan in the seventies.
Favourite quote: Fortunately the people I was dealing with weren’t the brightest bulbs in the socket.
The story is the basis of the new film, BlacKkKlansman.

Scratch that one off the bucket list
Maybe only fellow Americans will find your story funny

When I went down under a few years ago "mate" (also common on the forum) and other terms gave me a kick. I think I made one of my Aussie colleagues self-conscious about calling me "mate," but I loved it. It's so nautical. "Man" and "dude" have seemed so pedestrian since.
Very charming lot, as are their evictors.

After almost 2 years, it finally happened yesterday…
After having a conversation, an old Englishman looked me in the eyes and said "Cheerio!"
Definitely that's some sort of milestone in my life, lol!
My friends from the UK were visiting a couple of years ago. They were going to go for a swim, the husband announced he had his swimming boots on.

I finally got around to listening to most of the Dean Delray/ @Giles interview for Let Their Be Talk. Pretty good listen. I'm about 3/4 of the way done and will try to finish it tonight.

100% agreed, i really enjoy Deans Handmade Episodes, you need 1 Minute to realise that he is as much into that stuff as we all are. My Favortes are besides the one with Giles the Magnus Walker, Kiya Babzani and the Josh Warner ones, these guys have crazy life storys where no one tought they´ll end up where they are know.
