Sorry guys, I know this question was asked for many thousand times, but… Do I need to pre-soak these?
I know it's one-washed (and I've checked "IHUK care manual"), but fabric looks so "stiff".
And crotch blowout haunts me almost everytime

You don't "need" to in terms if shrinkage, won't make any difference. A soak might soften up the denim which can help you avoid crotch rips, but my experience is that crotch rips happen if you have the body type for it, regardless of the denim.

I remember from the first Lefty Trucker thread that this denim will shrink so a soak won't hurt. What will make them softer is wear. As much as possible.

I wouldn't. They're one-washed so I'd just wear em straight out of the bag!

I always wash my clothes before wearing, just to get out any shelf dust or residual production crud that may be lurking deep inside the fabric, as well as to soften it up a fraction.  Probably not necessary, but I like to do it anyway.

And neph is right- crotch blowouts are largely dependent on physiology, care will only alter when the inevitable happens.

One more question. How much of inseam should I keep for hemming, in case it will shrink?

This is what it says on the product page:

These jeans are unsanforised but One-washed. No more Shrinkage should be expected from them.  You are likely to see up to one inch of stretch in the waist after a few weeks of wear

If you ware worried, then add 1/2" onto your desired inseam to allow for possible shrinkage.

These are really starting to soften up nicely for me.  Only had about a month of solid wear on them so far but they were pretty beastly at first but seem to soften up well.  I anticipate them to be a very comfortable pair as time goes on.

I actually had to size up to a 36 on these due to the lower rise and smaller thigh measurements.  I actually wore them today.  They don't get as much wear as they deserve right now thanks to my 888S and 888UHR but I still love them.

These are my 34” 19oz Left Hand Twill Jeans which have been worn hard for exactly two months. The whiskers and other areas are showing the beginning of fades. These have one soak and no washes. I think if they were washed or soaked the denim would soften up but the vertical fades have developed. I recommend these.
