Being that this is a stout, would you say this is a thick, almost syrupy beer?

If you like spiced rums, I highly recommend trying to procure a bottle Eli. It's deceptively smooth for 14%abv. Like a rum soaked Mounds bar

Yeah I initially balked at the $28.99 price but I had to try it given the limited distribution in Texas.
