IHSH-26 & IHSH-26-OD - Short Sleeved Chambrays
-
Has anyone washed this shirt yet? If so, by hand or machine? And did the color change?
I soaked twice, both times in cold tap. Once before wearing for the first extended period of time(flight to Michigan) and once upon returning to California(Michigan is fucking muggy this time of year). Each time I may have noticed a very subtle decline in color saturation, but no appreciable fading, yet.

I honestly don't think these things are going to fade too much considering their weight/ material, but I could be wrong. I guess we shall see…

I just saw both the Western and Workshirt LS OD Shirts today at SE. I must say they are beautiful!
this isn't good news to me

Washed mine today. Very little to no fading.

handwashed, barely any fading at all

Any updates on how this shirt (or the IHSH-21bk) is wearing? I haven't worn short sleeves in the last 5 months so obviously there has been no change in mine.

I just took this shirt out of the closet for the first time since last summer and noticed a large fade on the lower back. I'm assuming that it's from sitting in a chair most of the day. I normally like fading but the lack of fading anywhere else on the shirt and and the odd location of this particular fade make it look like I rubbed against a chalkboard.
I wore the shirt approximately 15 days last summer and have not washed it yet. Perhaps a wash will even out the color a bit.
It would be nice to know if anyone else has had a similar experience with an over-dyed shirt.

I've worn mine a lot more than 15 times, and washed it a handful (seems I can' t wear this shirt without getting it dirty) and I don't have anything that looks like that. Give it a cold rinse and see if it goes away.
big fan of this shirt.

I always wear a tshirt under my shirt and have an office job. If it's not dirty or smelly I don't wash it. I'm a bit sensitive to both with regards to clothing but I can easily wear a shirt multiple times without it getting even close to dirty.

Thanks
that explains half of it. (I still can't force me to wear a shirt more than 3-5 times before washing, and I'm also an office worker, but then it's just me)my mummy always taught me that if something goes away for winter/summer it's washed before putting away.
I have always thought that washing is better for the fabric than leaving hanging dirty/half-dirty.

I gave this shirt a wash and the back fade is now much less pronounced now. The color of the shirt didn't change a noticeable amount due to the wash except for tips of the collar.
