And on a completely different note, I'd like jeans in a super dark, never fade indigo, like a darker, permanent 634SII.

The Sierra is lined in polartec fleece so alpaca wouldn't be too far off the mark.  I personally like polartec as a lining too so cordura with polartec would be tough as nails, fairly lightweight, and warm still.  Polartec might lower production costs a bit too.

btw @Giles if you wanted me to send you the vest to check out for ideas i'd be happy to.

How about something like duck, waxed cotton, Ventile, or some other brand of nylon rather than Cordura. Cordura is a brand that is owned by crazy anti-society extremists. Iron Heart is too good to be involved with the Koch brothers.

I'd like to see a nice selvedge denim jacket with horsehide sleeves – I think that would be badass.

I think it would make a great spring/fall lightweight jacket.

Type I's and II's sell like shit.  I keep making them and hoping that this time it'll be different, but it never is.  I have a Type II that I have not even bothered releasing yet, though it is made and in boxes in the stock room….

I love how simple the orSlow one is, and I thought the idea of a 14 oz. type I would be a nice way to showcase it.
I would be interested in the deets on that type II myself!

Honestly, don't need the agro, I'll likely sell about 2.

In a few years, I may release them, or I may see the light and just write them off…..

I really wanted the Vater & Sohn type I jacket, and I also think the brown duck type II looks spanking.  But they seem to be made for a slim/straight body type.  When I size up so my chest fits, then the sleeves are too long.  Same game with the type III double duck in indigo, wish I could fit that.

Yeah yeah, I know it's a motorcycle brand.  I'm not complaining, just saying I would have snagged up a few more jackets if I could make the measurements work.  Though there are other Iron Heart items that fits the bill perfectly.

I thought the V&S Type I in duck was selling well?
I honestly think the type II's cinch back is a deal breaker for many.  It's one thing when it's expected and in line with the traditional design, as with a Type I, but think it throws others off when it's a piece that usually doesn't have one.  The sleeves also look more billowy than the type IIIs you have.  Regardless, type II is my favorite so I'd love to hear more details on the unreleased one.
