My boy Tommy is a pretty good football (soccer) player for his age, and was lucky enough to be accepted to train with one of the top local amateur sides a couple of months ago. At the start it didn't go great, Tommy is a confidence player and when he lacks confidence he's not great, for the first few weeks his touch let him down, his passing went astray and he couldn't shoot (not good as he is a striker). He was getting pretty down about it and didn't think that he would ever get an opportunity to play for the team.
Last week his training picked up, he played really well and the coaches clearly noticed. Tonight he was simply brilliant, in a match against the older age group he scored 4 goals from open play and converted 3 penalties, he was easily the best player on the pitch. After the game the coach asked to speak to me and Tom and told us that he wanted Tommy to play as striker for the team in a local Championship tournament this weekend !!!
Quick as a flash Tommy said to the coach "Sorry, we're in Gosport this weekend visiting @Giles and Paula ( @Madame Buttonfly ). This love goes out to you guys from Tommy, you're more important than football

So I was expecting a package yesterday that required a signature. I left for about an hour to go pick up the kids from school. Sure enough, the "We missed you!" tag from UPS was on the door when I got back. Sucks, but stuff happens.
A couple of hours later, there's a knock at the door- UPS guy was driving by after finishing his route and noticed my car in the driveway, so he stopped again to make the delivery. Awesome, right?

If only our UPS guy were more like your UPS guy! We just get loads of crap jokes and bad anecdotes and he even had the audacity to accuse @Sam of being lazy….cheeky sod.
