Get an XL.  You can always shorten it…..

      http://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=5429.0

I've actually got one I bought from SENY a few years ago. I think maybe it's their own version because it looks like the IHB-01 but it was natural leather. I'm guessing it was the XL (it's stamped "LL") as it could do with shortening and I had to put a couple of holes in myself.

      So three questions:

      1. Do you know if the dimensions on the SE version are the same as IHB-01/05?
      2. Where it says "Total Length" does this include the buckle?
      3. Where it says "From base of buckle prong to first hole" I guess that's where the prong shows through the leather and curls round the buckle, (as shown in the picture below), and then to the center of the closest hole to the buckle?

Firstly, do not put holes in it.  It is designed to be taken apart and shortened from the buckle end.

        1. Close enough for Government work
        2. Yes
        3. Yes

But just get an XL and shorten it (I think even @Seul ) managed…...

Great, thank you very much for the answer. The one I own from SENY, I've already put holes in before I worked out the shortening mechanism, so that ship has sailed. I did a tidy job, but I see from your useful film what I should have done and I feel like a dick now  😠 . But yeah, I could manage that….

I'm looking for a new one as the SENY belt has so much transferred indigo on the inside it will feck up my new 666D's.  And this nu-buck is fit (as they say in Liverpool).

Also, it's good to know that @Seul is useful for more than drinking beer and cuddling pigs….

Actually I'm forever thankful to @Seul for getting me into Gueze and pointing me in the direction of the good ones. So hopefully he knows I'm just joking and that was a cheap shot [emoji16]

And I notice that my forum status just got upgraded to "Haraki-san Expert". That's some amazing irony considering the amount of dumb-ass questions I still ask on here.

What a perfect timed coincidence.  I had received an XL nubuck belt yesterday, but it's too big.  Was contemplating getting the L sized belt, or punching more holes in my XL.  Glad you guys discussed shortening the belt before I did anything, phew!

Good stuff! Can I ask what size jeans you take? Shortening looks like fun and games, but if the L fits right out of the bag I might as well go for that.

I am a 33-34 in IH bottoms, and the L fits perfectly out of the bag.  However, as a former 34-36, I would say the L probably would not work as well as sticking with the LL/XL and making the adjustments.  Just my two cents.

I'm a W36 and the XL is just a tad too long.  But seeing as it's easy to shorten the belt, I think I'll just do that instead of ordering an L, and risk finding out it's a bit too short.

I pulled the trigger on an XL just before you posted  😉 According to the site measurements the first hole should do. But my XL from SENY doesn't match those measurements so we'll see. Bit of DIY leather fuckery will be fun, anyways. Thanks for answering though!

@Winchy @Alex Please could you do that - IHB-01 has measurements in it, so please use that as a guide, do the IHB-04 too.  Please make a note to do it when IHB-02 is restocked.

The measurements may be in the sizing folder as they were def online on the last version of the website

If you have any doubt, I would go XL. You can always cut it down to size (this is way easier than it sounds… there's even a video somewhere).
