P had a PET scan on Monday.  This is a "How's the chemo regime doing" test 1/3 of the way through the treatment.

We went in for the results today.

All irregular cell activity has stopped.  90-95% chance of "extended remission".  Basically it means that she is on course for effectively complete recovery…

Community health announcement: Atrazine, a herbicide commonly used on GM corn, has recently been shown to emasculate males. :o

This herbicide is in 50% of US corn and can be found in genetically modified corn products as well as in corn fed animal products.

I have owned my single pair of Iron Heart jeans since december 1. Today while in the shower I realised I was excited about putting them on today. That happens almost everyday. No article of clothing has ever done that before. That's all.

My wife bought a new pair of jeans last night and commented that she has too many pairs.  I pointed out that after my recent sales, I'm now down to three pairs of denim (well, technically, four).

She's amused by the fact that I'm a moderator on a forum dedicated to jeans.

the guy working next to me blamed me for this trend. Granted…I could be considered "hipsterish" in the Midwest....but I've had a beard since 2007.
