I can't get on with blonde beers as much as I do darks, I've tried but the sweetness is really not to my liking. I find most of them a little sickly.

That is my favourite of the 4 or 5 different Geuze I have tried so far.

Breaking my own rule here: no beer over 6% before a workday… But the exception to this rule are geuzes... I can't help it's 8%, right?..
And yeah Megadome: I really like this as well... You would (will
) like the Boon Vat 44... I'll see if I can score some more bottles tomorow...
Good stuff Rafa: but don't be afraid to try new stuff mate!..

I got a couple of nice pieces of rump steak achieving room temp as I type that will be enjoyed later with my old faithful Chimay Blue. Easily available and one of my all time favourite beers.

You nuts, that's half a bottle of Aventinus…

Great choices in beer and shirting Seul

It's not beer, but had some hop soda today. Light and refreshing, with only a fairly hoppy aroma but only the slightest of hoppiness in the taste…
What a great idea, I'm going to make some this evening.

"Aged in wine barrels"… Whàt wine barrels???
Fermented with wild yeasts and aged in cabernet barrels with blackberries, Juliet is a tart, fruity, complex ale. Notes of wood, tannin, dark fruit and spice make Juliet an ideal beer to suggest to Pinot Noir enthusiasts and beer drinkers who are fond of Belgian sour ales.
How hard is it to mention that on the label?.. Sounds absolutely fantastic imo… Although I'm not big on Pinot Noirs at all...
