It'd been over a month since I had one, and I was squealing with joy every sip…

Yes: I prefer this beer over Abt 12, R10, and Westy XII...

There is literally a pubes width between them all imo…..although not tried the Westy (yet).

Made in England, clothed in Japan, fed in America and drunk in Belgium !

10 yr Anniversary aged porter from my favourite canadian brewery.  The final run, as this particular beer is being retired, forgot to take a phot till a bit after I started in, but figured I better, as I may not be able to drink it again

I can't get on with blonde beers as much as I do darks, I've tried but the sweetness is really not to my liking. I find most of them a little sickly.

Just as in dark ales, the variances in blond beer are enormeous… If you don't like sweet beer, you can drink bitters or IPAs... I, however, want low % alcohol complex, fruity (citrus-y) beers...

As you might've noticed I've been nibbling away at my geuze stock lately… Missed drinking these feckers so much... Can't wait for warmer weather... It was sunny and pretty warm today for February so guess I was in the mood for geuze...

That is my favourite of the 4 or 5 different Geuze I have tried so far.

Breaking my own rule here: no beer over 6% before a workday… But the exception to this rule are geuzes... I can't help it's 8%, right?..  😉

And yeah Megadome: I really like this as well... You would (will  🙂 ) like the Boon Vat 44... I'll see if I can score some more bottles tomorow...

Good stuff Rafa: but don't be afraid to try new stuff mate!..

I got a couple of nice pieces of rump steak achieving room temp as I type that will be enjoyed later with my old faithful Chimay Blue. Easily available and one of my all time favourite beers.

Yeah the bleu is one excellent beer innit… Just the perfect allrounder really... I do prefer a more complex, crazier, less balanced beer, but boy can I appreciate the perfection of a bleu...

                                          Budget of 120 €... Total was 119,05 €...
