8(UK) in Tricker's, 8(UK) in Viberg (2030 last)… Bit more room in the Tricker's though...

You know what models I have.. So it may not be too helpful but... Well I hope it's not...

Dose this seller have a good rating or bad rating for this site? "4.17 out of 5 stars" In EBay less than 97% is trash rating… :-\ New to this site though. Just not sure…

Not that high, but I don't know that it much matters if you're outside of Japan, as returns are kind of off the table anyhow.

Both my Trickers Stow and Malton are UK 10, fitting 5, and I'm a UK10E in my Viberg 50's Service boots (310 sprung toe last), Engineers (also 310) and Smokejumpers (160 last). There's  slightly more room around my toes in the 310 last, but it's in keeping with the boots and both Trickers are a much closer fit, similar to dress shoes.

Can anyone suggest a safe way for both my feet and the leather itself..  How to disinfect a pair of well used leather boots?

I was just reading about this. Rubbing alcohol will work but you'll need to condition the leather afterwards.

Thanks Seawolf.  I read that somewhere too.

So i'd need to condition the interior of the boot?

I have a package that reads "retention" at the destination zip code on Japan's EMS tracking site. My understanding is this means that they attempted delivery and had to hold it. Since the delivery was to a business that was closed Saturday, my assumption was that they would attempt re-delivery Monday. It still reads retention as the latest status.

                          Any thoughts or similar experiences?

Thanks–my hope is that duty was built in to the cost. I think Rakuten usually does this. I'll use this site!

Can't speak for the USA, but I have had to pay import and duty on just about everything I have ever bought through Rakuten. They do not factor this into the cost.

Same. I've paid duty on some imports to Australia from rakuten. I import for a living and can't understand how a vendor or consignor could ever build this into the cost of product.

But.. This may differ in the USA. No 1st Hand knowledge there.

I think I saw some shops (not from Rakuten) offer a price with in-built customs. IIRC it was J.Crew or so. At least when you visited those shops they stop you and redirect you to a local page for your country (meaning all prices reflect the custom policy of your country).

If the shop you bought from didn't do that, they didn't calculate that into their price. And that's about 99% shops I know.
How should they factor in the customs when they don't know who is going to order from them and what the custom policy of said country is?

Heh. Never paid customs from Rakuten and I'm a regular. The pros mark it as a gift/under-declare the value. Package landed, thanks all!

B.F, unless you're on ToR or something it's trivial to know what country you're visiting a web site from. All prices are in USD when I visit Rakuten because they know where I'm accessing from.
