Nice pants Mega.  I've yet to score anything raw yet.

I wash them monthly, it was kind of an experiment to go against the grain of the whole "not washing" movement.

I'm thinking about doing that too after dousing mine in syrup… I had no choice but to wash at that point 😉

when i first started in on raw denim i figured to hardly ever wash them, because thats what you read from other new people.. but after a while i realized why not just wash when there dirty, but with heavy denim, i just dont like the look/feel of newly washed, not to mention you incur unwanted wrinkles that can last months if you use a machine. i personaly like the biosheen that occurs from jawns not being washed for months and months, less to do with the fade and more to do with the feel of it, so im back to thinking you CAN def wash to often.

I've spot cleaned mine after my daughter threw up on the side of them, baking soda and soap, never bee cleaner

What's with the short inseam on this latest batch? I'd be tempted to pick up a pair if it wasn't for that (and the fact I just got the Vulcans  :-[)

It's also the only sensible answer.

These came in a few days ago, wow.. I've had unsanforized before but after first blazing hot soak these were the stiffest things I've ever felt, forget cardboard. Steel. Did second super hot soak last night for 2 hours, inseam only shrunk 1 inch which was good too, I got there larger on purpose, sick of tight fits.. But how long do these take to soften up??

They soften nicely in 7-10 days. Also, if you want the full shrink, agitation by hand is needed. I got 2.5in out of my inseam after 2 hot soaks with hand agitation.  The waist shrinks an inch and everywhere else shrinks about 0.5in. Enjoy Nerk.
