I wash them monthly, it was kind of an experiment to go against the grain of the whole "not washing" movement.

I'm thinking about doing that too after dousing mine in syrup… I had no choice but to wash at that point

when i first started in on raw denim i figured to hardly ever wash them, because thats what you read from other new people.. but after a while i realized why not just wash when there dirty, but with heavy denim, i just dont like the look/feel of newly washed, not to mention you incur unwanted wrinkles that can last months if you use a machine. i personaly like the biosheen that occurs from jawns not being washed for months and months, less to do with the fade and more to do with the feel of it, so im back to thinking you CAN def wash to often. -
