Nice Q. My vmc's are on my legs right now. Will wear em more often now together with the 666 25ers. Great cut, great fabric.
You pull em off nicely mr Q

    Cheers,
    David

Thanks Mr D.  😉  I seriously considered sizing down from my regular 30 to a 29 like you did on these but, in the end, went with the 30.  I think it was probably the right call.

Thanks guys.  I figure if Finn gives it the tick of approval then it must be ok - you seem to nail the fit on everything IH!

not on everything, already made some bad sizing errors as well 😉 thanks a lot though 🙂

Hi guys. I picked up a pair of 25oz's last month and I'm experiencing really bad fraying at the bottom of my left cuff. Is this an easy repair?

            Yes…check out thread about repairs.

and to prevent further fraying, soak cuff area properly in hot water, and work fabric with your hands to soften it and get rid of the starch. Change water to clean and repeat soaking and "massaging" the cuff area. Stretch soaked area so there won't be any annoying wrinkles and dip dry.
This might help, or then not...

These are my new 25 oz. XHS.  At first I wasn't too sure about the fit as these are my first IH jeans in the 634 cut.

Dude all ur fits are spot on

Thanks Sal.  If I can get all my IH gear to fit as well as yours I'll be very happy.

First I wanted a Samurai Jeans, but they do have too many cuts and do shrink and blabla
Iron Heart is the better choice, my 634S fits perfect!!! DC4 have some 32 sizes left in their onlineshop, that´s my size. Hopefully they have one when I am in Berlin the next time in November!
                        Thanks man 🙂

iH is miles ahead (in my opinion) of Samurai, which is still very nice. The IH 25oz line is so much heavier than all the other brands' 24oz models (Samurai and PBJ, which I also have) it's like day and night in terms of feel. IH 25 fabric feels like an armor even after a year of almost daily wear.

                          In a word, IH rulezzzz

                              I'm 28 on 634s-B

If I had the crazy idea to buy myself a pair of 634 XHS (this is one thing that came to my mind suddenly tonight) ... which size should I choose?

Giorgio, you could probably pull off 28 if you are content with a few weeks of pain.

                                    Question:
                                    My 634S (size 32/34) has a 36" inseam, and there are some roll-up´s, so I wear a 30" inseam.

The XHS has a 37" inseam, so they are even longer than my 634S. But I dont want to many roll-up´s because 25ounces are really heavy. I wanna hem my inseam, but I dont know how much… Maybe a 33"???

New to the forum and to Iron Heart generally - I have a quick question on fit with these jeans:

I'm a weightlifter/powerlifter and often have trouble finding pants that will fit.  I generally have to purchase size 40+ waist pants and have the waist taken in to a 34-36 to get pants that fit my legs.

I've measured a pair of pants of mine that fit well and the thigh sits at just a hair over 14 inches.  I've noted that the thigh measure on the 36's in the 634's is 13.8".  I've also read the posts that most people get a little stretch out of the denim with wear in the waist.  Does anyone have experience with stretch in the thigh as well?

I'm in this weird position where I would actually like to shrink the waist by about an inch or so and get no stretch, but would love an extra inch in the thigh.

                                          Any suggestions with this?
