People who rip you for being childless are jealous. When I first had kids I felt very resentful toward anyone who didn’t share the experience of my misery. Now that’s it’s slightly less miserable and just tedious and irritating I don’t feel as jealous.

My life is completely different with a kid and I loved my life.
But I’m even happier now. Usually.
Socks with Crocs (my next band’s name) is like a capital sartorial offense.

@Mizmazzle the wife and the pooches of course! Even at 37 I thought the trolling about not having kids would be over, maybe when I hit 40. I will say being an uncle is pretty rad though.

Yeah having a dog is way limiting. The kid just adds to it. We had ultimate freedom for a while between dogs and before kid.

I think Birks are close to being objectively ugly but man they feel good.

They are objectively ugly, and I wear them every day! They're so comfortable. I kind of recently discovered the soft footbed, and that's a whole other level.

God dammit. Those are nice.
I have all of the parts to make my own Birkenstock Milano or Arizona, but I haven't had the time. Maybe when summer rolls around.
