yeah. they don't feel like they will stretch. however, they feel ok when they are on, and i actually do intend to lose a few pounds. i guess the practical part of the question boils down to - given the methodology of measuring the waist size, why do these seem to come out to 14" rather than 15" (or actually a bit above, given what the size chart says).

@popvulture japan maybe stock about 50% of what we do outside of seasonal lines, I am pretty sure this model was an IHUK request, but I cannot 100% recall, and sometimes things that we do outside of Japan only get less interest than things that are done globally.

Further to the above, whipcord is one of the fabrics that we need to pre-order well before we use it. Every year, Haraki and I guesstimate how many rolls we need about 5 months before we take preorders for FW deck jackets, and if we get it wrong then we have to cut back those orders. It could have been a case of the last time we tried to run them we had used all available whipcord, but again I cannot recall exactly.

@Alex cool, man — thank you! It's not like I have any shortage of bottoms at the moment, so I'll certainly be ok. I do hope they make it back one of these days, though. Love the fabric, and it's a helluva color. Those pics on the product page with the Wescos look so fucking good!
