Yeah, I had a pair of the 03 in a 30 waist. I could make them work, but even when I was super fit they were a challenge. The new sizing seems pretty close to my 8301, but with a bit wider waist. Hoping the size up to 31 works out!

Well…that was a fail. My pair just got here today and I’m not sure how it changed this much
I can even get them up to my waist! Went a size larger than my previous pair, and compared the sizing to my current 8301s which was very similar (and fits well).
Looks like I’ll be eating the return shipping…

Any chance of just having the purchase applied to the upcoming 888 SBG?

Interesting to hear the fabric in the new fabric is softer. I have the 555 03 and, three years in, and a lot of wear, the fabric is still rigid at the top of the thighs. It’s not a size thing. It’s just armour.

@Richard I had purchased my first 25oz about a year ago, and got 21oz 666 8 months ago in SBG. They are night and day compared to how soft they are vs the indigo 25oz. I've also noticed the same between my denim western shirt 18oz ind vs denim shirt 18oz ind od. The OD is MUCH softer.

Just got these in today. First pair of SBG. Very comfortable right from the get go. Fairly tight knee measurements on these, but worked out well for me. Looking forward to putting these to use in the coming weeks.

fit is good, they need a little stretch at thighs but not much . the SBG feels already pretty soft .

Super happy how creases set
after around 40 hours wear they get better and better , got a good amount of stretch at the right places so I am sure they end up perfect. Was very picky to iron out the folding creases to make sure there will be no vertikal lines at the folding creases.

Still undecided about my pair there tight in the waist but like you mentioned a bit of wear and I’ll gain the 1inch in the waist. All other measurements are good..

Or size up and there perfect out the bag but with the stretch be to big in the waist ‍️

Decided to keep my tag 31 and glad I did one day of wear and feel great stretched in all the right places
Could just about get the top button done up at first with them being tight but no problem now ..

10 days more in these. they fit awesome now and I love to wear em . I think they got a little lighter at the high wear areas. the sbg is fantastic, super curious about the 526 in sbg

actually I thought it’s pretty slow , but in the last week things seem to start. I guess there will be a significant change after the first wash.

Then bam.. the fades roll in
