What's your favorite Beer?

When I was introduced the first time into the world of sour beer from our barkeeper Seul aka E. in 2013 here in the forum, I was hooked from the first moment!
If you scroll back, you can find tons of information about sour, lambic and geuze Seul provided in this time.

To make a long story short, our favorite  head brewer (wich is the owner in third generation) heard us and build a traditional coolship in 15/16 and bought wooden barrels.

He fired tons of collaborations and this night I had the opportunity to open the first bottles launged in 2020.

Sauerland by Freigeist- Cool and Dark Decotion; a collaboration with Pizza Port and brewed at Vormannn Brewery
Local and beatiful balanced. Never thougt this could happen.

Solid. No frills. Nothing to rave about. But, nothing to complain about, either. I'd rate it right around 4.

If I'm remembering correctly, it was $5. Certainly not going to break the bank. But, taking regular stock of it would be a stretch.

300€ worth of beer incoming… Some Brazilian stouts with outrageous scores (4.41/ 4.45), some US IPAs and some fruited sours...

Bought a few of this bottles in 2016,  but some other „De Molen“ performed much better, so I put this into the cellar.

Researched about the „Brett“ and learned, this  beer should take some time!
After over three years, this BA-Brett evolved beatifully…

I always enjoy Brett beers, but mainly have had Farmhouse versions…

I definitely enjoyed one (or 5) of these installing new lights in the laundry / hall bath...
