Took these at work the other day.

Great Pictures @Filthy 21/23oz junkie.
-
I picked this up today for £75.00 with a spare battery, which I thought wasn't a bad deal.
-
I always try to remember to take a selfie on the end of my film rolls, most are throw aways but sometimes they yield interesting results.
-
Few recent slide scans from Velvia 100
-
some of my expired rolls became 'too expired'. absolutely gutted.. especially when i was expecting their glorified beauty of crossprocessed in europe.
they're
hardalmost impossible to find nowadays. i got them 4/5 years ago and i stopped shooting for a few years.one roll was the old Fuji T64 Tungsten and the other was an old Agfa (not the new Agfaphoto) Ct Precisa.

There's plenty of weird shit here in South Africa. ???

thanks @marlin !
@louisbosco how old was that film? I'm always impressed when getting any images from expired film, always a gamble.
@Filthy 21/23oz junkie nice captures!!

I lost my travelling camera to a man versus wave and tuna incident in Fiji.
I'm thinking one of these.
Ant reason why I should not?

My photography took a long freeze; not sure why…interest just waned. My last camera was film; a Nikon F6. Didn't get much use before I stopped altogether. The difficulty of getting slide film processed was a big factor I guess, and laziness probably added the rest
I've been working up my interest in picking it up again and I've been doing some light research on digital SLRs. I probably need to stick to a Nikon body, as all my lenses (24mm, 50 mm, 105 mm and 600 mm) are Nikon. I mostly enjoy bird photography; followed by sports (tennis and motorcycle races), and lately cattle too. The cattle bit is work related as we sell bulls as sires. The cattle photos are probably the only ones which may be used for promotional/marketing material; the birds and sports are exclusively personal enjoyment.
Anyhow, with that brief intro to give a sense of my needs, I was hoping to get some recommendations on which SLR bodies people thought I should consider. Initially, noting I am a newbie to digital photography, I was considering the Nikon D500, D750 and D810 bodies. Thanks for all input!

@moto this current bunch i bought might be roughly somewhere between 2011-13 i think. the film was already expired at that time. my guess would be 1-2 years expired.
so i've only started using them again this year because i stopped shooting film for some time. the agfachrome ct precisa was my favourite when cross processed and i know i had kept a couple lying around somewhere. they're impossible to find now and i never liked the new agfaphoto ct precisa colour. to show you what it should turn out back in the day, this is what it should look like.
shot with canon av-1
another earlier bunch in 09 in HK

Love the colors and contrast on these @louisbosco cross processing always yields interesting results!

I currently have a Nikon D3100 and hate carrying it around, really want to pick up a FujiFilm X100T so I can carry it with me all the time.
-
The best camera is the one that's with you, or something like that. The X100T is a great camera and very compact.

Lovely photo @mikebarhoot -damn! snow in Tx this early?
