IHJ-165-ODG - 6.2oz Serge Drizzler Jacket - Olive Drab Green
Loosely based on the classic McGregor “Scottish Drizzler” — known in Japan as a “swing top” jacket — our reinterpretation creates a lightweight Harrington-style jacket, designed with a partially elasticated hem for a blouson fit at the waist.
This model is made from a 6.2oz high-density cotton serge, a fabric that is light and breathable, yet tough thanks to its tightly woven, ridged twill. To complement the 1950s cut, we’ve opted to dye the fabric with a sulphur-based dye, allowing the garment to age with a pleasing vintage character over time. This evolution is kick-started by our one-wash process, with the jacket already showing signs of the patina to come.
Other defining features of our drizzler include a dual-fastening “swing top” collar and a versatile two-way zipper, finished with an embroidered Iron Heart chest logo that hints at the jacket’s sports-influenced heritage.

Love the look of this one too! All hits this season as far as I'm concerned!

I feel like I already know the answer, but will there be a version of this without the chain stitched logo?
I just can't with the neon... And this is such a nice jacket otherwise! -
@indigo_fades if you don't see it here, it aint being made

Based on sizing chart think it's possible to size down from usual size or probably best to stick to normal size - imagining the latter?
-
@muggleclutch You should always go with the measurements that work best for you. I have everything from 33-36 tag size jeans/pants and from large to XXL in shirts. Every item fits about the same even though the tag sizes are different. The measurements however are consistent on what works best for me.
Trust in the measurements.

Hi guys - how much give/expansion (eg an inch either side?) is there in the elasticated Opening at the bottom of the jacket? I assume the measurements above do not reflect this "give"?

Hi, the above measurements do not reflect the give in elasticated opening.
We have tried the jacket on here and each side the elasticated section expands to a maximum of 2" (6" relaxed to 8" maximum extension) - so overall you could get up to 4" of extra room we would say.
Hope that helps!

Thanks - much appreciated

I really like the cut, fabric, and overall look of this jacket, but the large chest embroidery makes it a pass for me personally.
One of the things I’ve always appreciated about Iron Heart is that the garments usually let the fabric, construction, and details do the talking. Small labels, tabs, patches, and discreet branding all make sense to me, but larger visible branding changes the feeling of the garment quite a bit.
