@Tobi Did you get enough time with it to ever soften up or fade much. Very glad I picked this up this past winter, and love the crunch. Will be a commitment project for sure.

@Oaktavia That's a real good point. Definitely a few pros and cons. I have a 16oz superblack CPO with no twill as well and kinda like the raw power it has without them. I think on the more classic 292 type CPO's I always liked the look or the placket, and cuff twill details. I also see the twill cuffs getting beat up on my 17oz duck CPO. I'm sure a lot of thought went into these recent designs.

@MSav32323 that's a huge disappointment IMO. The twill lining on the IH CPO's is classic and a huge appeal for me.

@CosmoSix5 ya, that is exactly what everyone is talking about with the measurement variations, inconsistency and second guessing. Is it a typo? Who knows. lol

@bluemantra I think you will be fine. Do wash and hang dry, and if need more do a wash and use warm dryer. I think you be pleasantly surprised how 1-2" in length will help, but very minimal in chest and shoulders. Beautiful shirt! One of the best.

@marco23d perfection, praying they might do another run of these in future. everything Mike puts out is so good these days.

@Graham yours most certainly "fades to grey", with some nice marbling! just glad mine finally is softening up from being stiff as a board. I dig it!

If I didn't just buy a black CPO I would be all over this, but this grasshopper is patiently waiting another CPO for Spring. Love this herringbone, and can't wait to see more pics with big boy snaps.

Day 1 with my new Superblack CPO. Definitely the most stiff and rigid 16oz I've ever witnessed. It will make the wear process in that much more rewarding. I'm 6-2, 196lbs, and often wear XXL and XL Iron Heart depending on the measurements and intent, and XL is perfect for this fit all around. Long journey ahead, and thanks for the inspiration.

@derek111 UES Tricotine, and Ship John Sashiko are hands down 2 of the best shirts ever IMO, (along with IH CPO's, lol)

My new favorite UES, and I have quite a few. 11.4oz INDIGO DOUBLE WEAVE. Sometimes photos and descriptions just don't do a shirt justice.
