@FlavourFade ah yeah, sometimes certain runs have anomalies in sizing. Glad you found your cut! Saw your pics of the 634, they suit you well!

I’m currently fighting (losing atm) to keep the gains I acquired to fit the 888’s & 555’s without any tailoring.

@endo a lot as in temperature? Not by much on paper, just a few degrees. But you can feel the difference & it’s absolutely noticeable depending which part of the island you’re on. It’s also humid & voggy (volcanic fog from Hawaii Island) which makes a big difference with how hot it “feels”. Hits different on different parts of the island. In higher elevations as long as there’s wind, it’s ok. Lower & no wind it sucks big time.

Got a roofing job this weekend in town. Definitely a few temps higher and not as breezy as where I’m at, but close enough to the water for a dip afterwards.

@FlavourFade thank you! I’m starting to appreciate denim with a bit more room. Definitely noticing the difference that it makes especially in heavy denim like these.

Crazy how your 555 xhsbb’s fit like 888’s. Do you size the same for both 555 & 888?

@Jord It’s a blessing and a curse to have too many pairs of denim in various cuts. I reckon you would do well in the 666 cut if you want a slimmer leg profile of the 634.

Lucky you with nice summer temps! Must be awesome being able to comfortably wear some of the heavier denims while everyone else is sweating indigo

@Jord thanks! I know most size for thighs. Good to know what measurements work for your body type. Only recently learned about it after gaining some mass in thighs

I typically only need waist measurements to see if the denim fit will “work” and only add thighs if I want a specific fit if the table measurements don’t align with what works for me.

As for the sneakers, love a nice new pair! But honestly not too concerned since they’re a back up pair for work so the little use they get atm is just to break them in. The off white is lovely for the time being

Editing to add - the thighs on these are very loose, even after washing. Overall, the fit is a typical 555 slim fit. Planning to continue wearing this pair even though it’s slimmer than I was hoping. It’s still loose enough to enjoy movement even in the warmest of temps in comparison to my tailored 777’s.

Got the chance to hot soak (30 min.), machine wash (30min., low spin, tap cold), & air dry today.

Your bb’s look great @don_pipone I’m surprised by the worn down area from the belt hardware. Do you ever feel it stabbing you?

@Oaktavia would love to get a pair of 684’s in either the 16oz or 18oz! Hoping they have some smaller sizes available on the next run

These went expectedly fast. Glad to wake up for work at the same time IH drops the goods & copped a pair I was actually looking for a pair of these in the 888 cut for a loosey goosey fit but missed the release. 555 was the next best fit to go with. Waist is 1.5-2 larger than what I normally wear, but the looser top block might be advantageous for a more comfortable fit that I’m looking for with these. Fit pics are dry. Been a while since I last wore xhs. Debating when to start them. Thinking of throwing them in the mix this summer to suffer for 1 or 2 days a week while mostly wearing the 888 142ib’s & duck cargos.

@freepickin thank you you won’t be disappointed by the 18oz it’s a fantastic denim with lots of character and a great weight for all seasons. Hope you don’t need to wait long for these to release in the 1955’s

Oh yes it was phenomenal!!! Been going there for b-days. And happy my 40th is approaching. Definitely making sure we go there to celebrate!!!

Tried a new (to us) soba+tonkatsu restaurant last weekend. Missed the shot of the robot delivering our food, but can say without a doubt this place is a 9/10 and it’s right next to the theaters so date night w/dinner and a movie was a hit.
