I know that the 1955s cut is expanding and was wondering if there are any plans to expand to the 25oz denims for this cut or whether there are plans to restock/expand for the different 21oz denims.

@cyclops thanks. Depending on where you are located, you can easily find them in stock. If in the US I believe self edge has all sizes in stock still.

Got my CPO in today and it fits perfectly. Big thanks to the iron heart guys for finding one with my specific measurements.

Also, I cannot believe how soft this fabric is out of the gate. Although all I have to compare is the self edge iron heart 13oz broken twill black CPO to compare it too.

I saw that there was no planned restock date on these. Any ideas on when you are planning on taking orders/inputting the next order for a restock?

Just got my pair in today and the fit is spot on. I also have never felt a pair that is so soft to start. Almost feel very light to the 18 and 21oz I wore until they were to large as I have lost weight. Feel like nothing compared to my 25oz samurai’s I am currently wearing.

@yannis I decided to go ahead and give them a room temp soak. Glad I did as I lost 1.5” in inseam length. Waist and thigh were negligible. Wearing them today already as they were dry over night

Question for yall.

I just picked up a pair of s510xx25oz-sp and they are probably me best fitting jeans I currently have. This is my first time though with unsanforized one wash denim. Should I do a cold/warm soak of around 30mins to try and get the last of the shrinkage out? Include an additional cold wash after and air dry? This is my first time with anything this heavy as well.

Just wondering what the general consensus is for these as I do not want to start wearing them and then get to washing and next thing I know the length has shortened and I get fade lines that move on me because of it. That is the primary concern. I believe the waist will tighten up a little but that is fine for me if they are a little tight as they will stretch back out to my normal waist size.

Am I over thinking it and I should just start wearing them?

@IWannaIndigoHome I am the same way and usually looking for a 14” thigh. I just got a pair of 1955s with a 13.8. I am thinking this will be the lowest I can go as I have noticed with my other pairs that started out with a 14” thigh that they have stretched and feel somewhat too baggy and now measure 14.25”. So I am hoping that 13.8 will be just about right to once they stretch, they will be perfect at 14”.

I know it is a different cut cut I should have them sometime this weekend if not Monday so hopefully I can update you if you want

@Anesthetist same here hopefully the team can find a pair that meets what I am looking for as I was between sizes. I really only have this cut or the 888s as options for me.

What would be the best approach for tomorrow’s release?

I am in between sizes and am looking for the following.

Waist: 35.5
Thigh: 13.8-14

Should I go for a size 35 and ask for an outlier to the larger side in thigh measurement or go 36 and ask for an outlier to the smaller side in waist measurement?

I do like the slightly smaller top block with the shorter rise of the 35 but the majority of the time the limiting factor is my thighs.

I am trying to prevent the extra material in the top block to fit my thigh and waist measurement. Not wanting the diaper look lol.

Have a pair of the 25oz coming. After looking at the measurements it seems they are perfect for me. Cannot wait to get these as they are my first heavy weight pair.

One more question for those that wear this cut vs 888.

I have only ever tried 888s and am strongly considering the 1955 and from the compare tool the look for the most part very similar but when comparing recent measurements of 888s to these is seems they have a little more room in the thigh then the 888s. It looks like a lot of 888s have been more on the slightly narrower side then compared to previous releases of the 888.

For those that wear both, how do these compare to the 888s?

Question on these. The leather patch, does it allow for a belt to pass through it or is it completely sewn down like the 18oz vintage denim.

I prefer to be able to use the patch as a belt loop

Any of yall noticing this shirt shrinks after washing?

I have washed mine a couple times now doing only a cold wash, no spin, hang dry and I have primarily lost length in the shirt. Almost 1.5” to be exact which is a little concerning as it is almost too short now.

@jonatahncoll same here, it keeps getting pushed back a month. I don’t know if I can take this much longer lol

Any ideas on timeframe of when these will drop? I did not see a product page for these up yet.

@meatmarketdenim1 are you sure that Selfedge is stocking this CPO? I believe the stock list was updated and Selfedge did not stock them. There is nothing online either. Maybe I am remembering wrong and the stock list is incomplete. Either way, nothing a simple call to them could answer.
