@michael.rose0107 I am the same way as you in wanting to build up some short sleeve summer wear. While it is not a short sleeve, I do primarily wear it with the sleeves rolled up and I find it breaths pretty well. Look into finding the cotton linen shirt IHSH-443-IND. it is one of my favorites to wear when it is hot and I feel it is better wearing in the hot summers we get here in Texas. Won’t be long before we are seeing weather above 100 consistently for the next couple months.

@michael.rose0107 this fabric is pretty heavy in general I feel. I am in San Antonio and if I have to spend a lot of time outside during the summer, I wear something different. This is wearing mine without an undershirt as well.
This is still an amazing shirt and I wear mine to the office often. I just do not spend much time outside wearing it.

Thought I would post some updates. Roughly 30ish wears and 1 wash. You can see the fading starting to come through around seams and edges.

Do these shorts stretch at all or is it closer to a khaki/denim material? 13.5” thigh is a tight fit on the xl.

Well decided to go ahead and pick one up now instead of waiting for the next time these come around. Have one on the way from self edge which is pretty close to me.

@goosehd yep I fully understand that. I guess I am just trying to get a gauge on timing and how their process might affect it.
For instance, if I pass this time around on a shirt because most likely it will be restocked in the next year to year and a half, I am fine with that. But if it may take say double and we are looking at 2-3 years, I may just go ahead and buy as I do not feel like waiting that long. I also know that not everything goes as planned and some arrive sooner then planned while other take longer then planned.

Was not sure where to put this question but for your staple/core restocks.
When a restock hits, does it automatically go back into the queue for the next restock since it takes a while? Or is there usually a period of time say a couple of months before the order is put in for the next restock?
Also, it seems like the average time between restocks for core items is around 1-1.5years give or take some time?
Just trying to decide if I am going to buy the kersey shirt and save it for when I am ready to work on it or just wait till next time it comes around lol. I alsready have a couple of denim CPOs I should be working on once it cools down.

As nice and as popular as this fabric is, has there ever been a plan to do this in a CPO?

RE: Introduce Yourself Hereposted in Some Really Boring (but useful) and Some Really Interesting Stuff!
Hi Richard here.
This is somewhat over due as I am new to iron heart.
Earlier this year, I decided to redo my wardrobe to focus more on quality than quantity. I am usually the type of person who researches for months before doing anything. Well my research led me here and I have now started replacing a good chunk of my clothes.
Being that I am from San Antonio, Tx, I do have to put up with our overly hot and dry summers where we are consistently above 100 degrees. I am lucky though that I do have a pretty lax dress code at work and that is where most of my wear comes from except for the lighter pieces I can possibly wear with shorts.
In my short time on this site I have the following items that I have either bought direct from IHUK or gone into a self edge store to try on before buying.
- 633s-18 vintage jeans(learned afterwards that I need higher rise. Still my everyday pair as I make it work)
- 888s-Sbg
- IHSH-438-IND
- SEXIH25-CPOOD restock
- SEXIH-BRCPO-BLK 13oz broken twill
- IHSH-443-IND
- IHSH-445-IND
- IHSH-438-PUR
- IHSH-442-SAX
I think I am pretty much done for shirts for the year as I really do not need anything more heavy as we really do not get cold or long winters.
I am planning on picking up the following jeans though to replace my 633s and finish my rotation.
- 888s-21OD
- 888-XHS
Other then that I will just be on the lookout for spring summer releases/ restocks that are on the lighter weight and can possibly be worn with shorts on the weekends. I do not foresee picking up any more CPO type shirts as I have a couple that I need to work on lol.
Excited to be apart of this community.

@Richard I don’t mind double denim is there is a noticeable difference. For me one or the other needs to be pretty faded to create the contrast. All my jeans look pretty much new lol as I am not hard on them. I usually only wear jeans to the office for a white collar type job. I sit at a desk most the day.

Decided I needed a pair of black jeans and picked up a pair today. This is my first pair of jeans in the 21oz denim and they do not disappoint.
Given I got rid of all my older pairs of jeans and am currently working on a pair of 18oz denim, this sbg pair will allow me to wear most of my indigo shirts as it gives me contrast. My 18oz indigo jeans are not showing signs of fading yet to have enough contrast with my shirts.
Just my own opinion but I cannot stand to wear a same color top and jeans that almost look the same color even if the texture is different. That is just me though lol.

Was in a self edge store today to get a pair of 888s-sbg and came home with this shirt as well after I felt the fabric and tried it on. Will be a perfect shirt to wear to the office. It is going in the rotation.

@Oaktavia how much have you been wearing this for the shirt to already be showing fades?

Any ideas on when there will be a restock on these? I tried to go back in the thread to look when it was last restocked and the the thread keeps on jumping around on my phone skipping a ton of posts so I am not sure if these were somewhat recent like the indigo black ones. Is this an before the end of the year thing or most likely 2027
Edit: never mind finally found the update given in march of end of 2026 but most likely 2027

@Matt if you are referring to putaniks pics, that definitely is the 13oz broken twill.

Finally got around to washing my pair to shrink them. They are now perfect and sit right in between a large and an XL. Lost the most in the inseam which was expected and they are now at 32” long which is perfect for me. Excited to get a ton of wear in these around the house and my lounge pants

Anyone roll their sleeves on this shirt and if so, do worry about unusual creases/fading?

@will6er maybe but my bank account may disagree lol

RE: IHSH-443-IND - 7oz Cotton Linen Chambray Work Shirt - Indigoposted in Shirting
After reading this whole post and trying to hold out in hopes my size would sell out, I finally gave in and have a xxl on the way. Hoping this will be a perfect summer shirt for me in the hot Texas summers. Looking at most likely making it a work shirt every now and then and my main shirt on the weekends.
