@flannel-slut She's the best. Couldn't have asked for a better pup, really.
Also, here's the response from MSC to my comment about looking like a copy/paste of the IH Wabash.

@flannel-slut
Here's a recent photo of their Field Jacket. It's some of the best natural veg tan I've had. Definitely needed a Bick4 condition, but it was so good after that.

@flannel-slut Funny, I had a similar experience with the Bronson 1930 Boxing Sweater recently. The fabric is superb (Probably the best fabric of any sweatshirt I've ever worn, even over Lady White Co and Iron Heart), but the cut was HORRIFIC. It was choking me so much that I actually seam ripped the collar, cut the neckline down in the front, and sewed it back together. And it's just now bearable, still not perfect. Here's a before and after picture I posted on a Reddit thread a few weeks ago when I did this:

Also, be careful - apparently the loopwheel t-shirts they advertise aren't actually loopwheel, it's just the name.
@flannel-slut Agreed. I commented on their page that they could have changed SOMETHING. They kept the tag placement, font color, and the buttons exactly the same. All easy opportunities to change a little something to at least help distinguish it from the IH Wabash. I know there are only so many designs available for traditional style shirts, and many of the repro companies market their shirts as a repro, so it works. However, to keep every detail the same and intentionally not acknowledge the source to take credit seems devious.
I'm a fan of MSC. I have their natural field jacket and love it. With that said, I wonder what you all think of this "pinstripe" sample piece they have posted on their Instagram. See photo:

@Marc2706 Thanks! It's one of those things that grew on me over the last 6 months. Turns out all I needed was a couple layers underneath for it it fit properly, and now I love it!

I'm so annoyed by this release. I had it all planned out. I was NOT going to buy this. I even scheduled a meeting to take place during the drop time so I would have to wait almost an hour after release before I was able to even look. 59 minutes after the drop I hit the "Pay Now" button and now I have to figure out how to explain how I bought all 3 UHF releases for this season. Crap.
They're just too good. This F/W25 season has been killer. I'm just grateful I live at the beach so I don't need to buy all these awesome jackets coming out too. I'd be in real trouble then.
How does the sizing of the vests work in comparison to the shirts? I've been eyeballing some vests on eBay for a little while (actually, yours is only about $25 more than the one I was just looking at) but have been a bit hesitant because the measurements I'm used to using don't seem to apply much with this. For reference, I'm a Medium/Large (mostly medium) with all the IH tops I have. How does the vest compare to your shirts? I'm asking here because your size preferences seem to be similar to mine, considering the items you're selling. Hope you don't mind! Thanks
This new material looks so much like chrome tanned leather, it's wild. Doesn't seem to have all the benefits of veg tan (satisfying break in, darkening in high wear areas, accepting conditioner to caramelize the color, etc). As cool as it sounds to have something that's immediately soft and supple, I'm afraid I would lose interest if there's nothing to "work for." Will likely pass on this leather.
@beejpowers I saw a medium posted not too long ago on Facebook. If that's your size let me know and I'll try to connect you.
Also, for the IH crew - I would also love to see a run of this make a comeback. Or anything similar, dark orange in slub seems like it would be a hit. Just gotta make sure it has a cool name. "The Watermelon Man" was a good one, however something tells me that a similar name, like "The Orange Man" would hit a little differently.
Especially for the US customers.

Waking up late and enjoying a quiet coffee before going over to see the inlaw siblings in a few minutes. The last moments of quiet for the rest of the day.

Well, well, well... Looks like I found a way to incorporate Iron Heart even into my formal Christmas party attire. This is a full suit btw. Thanks for the Christmas shirt, guys!
@V-P Absolutely. I had to pull out my first set of stitches after they didn't go as planned and there was no evidence of them after removal. I've now closed up the gusset on my 12oz Wabash as well, and now it fits more close to the body, which is what I always wanted. It's not much, but it corrects about 1-1.5 inches of extra flare at the bottom. It's been great for me these past couple of days.
@CosmoSix5 I'll just be over here regretting not doing my homework before buying. You got that favor on you bro! #blessed

Wife says "But you're going to look cuter than me at Thanksgiving this year" and I take that as quite a compliment! Although I'm obligated to disagree, I'm still proud of the recognition

If this isn't the right thread for this, I apologize. For anyone else who wishes the work shirt was as slim as the western in the bottom opening - I fixed the tenting issue without undoing any seams on this one in about 10 minutes with an old domestic sewing machine. You could do it by hand too - it's only about 12 stitches on each side. Just stitch the side gussets closed! I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner, and some of you may already have, I just haven't seen it here anywhere. Super easy modification, and you can hardly tell anything is different. It's much easier than tailoring the flat-felled seam, which is another thing I've been working on with a large Wabash I'm turning into a medium in the waist. It's tricky if you want to keep the gusset for the original look. This doesn't make it look original, but it's a quick and easy solution to the too-wide waist of most of my IH shirts.

Anyone else's wife have them doing Christmas tree activities a little early this year? lol we usually wait until the day after Thanksgiving like everyone else, but we came across the local feed store selling NC native trees during a run a couple days ago and I was prompted to go inside and pay before they closed. Sprayed it down, left it outside for a couple days, and now it's all set up.
That means I can focus on finding black Friday deals instead of setting up a tree later this week
@Shane-B This is cool! I was convinced the meaning behind the number was something like it being based on the 634 frame, but swapping out the 3 with an 8 because you're in Hamburg and H is the 8th letter of the alphabet... Something like that
Probably just reading into things too much lol
Love the new cut. If my 634s ever wear out, I'll likely give these a shot! Glad to see Haraki willingly taking design cues from someone. I learned in the podcast early on that it's not exactly his favorite thing to do, so that's a real honor for you man!
