Been thoroughly enjoying the colors on the new UHF. It's the perfect cool weather companion, much like my little friend here. The UHF will likely be a go-to for evening rides/walks for the next few months. Now I need to get a western cut. I wish so bad this blue was as slim as a western!
With all this hurricane weather coming in on the coast, it seems to be cooling off a bit these past couple of days. This is the first morning I've been able to sit on the front porch with the pup for more than 5 minutes without sweating through my clothes. Really looking forward to the fall & winter seasons.

This IHSH-361 is still in its first few wears, and I'm loving how rigid this thing is. No idea how long it will take to soften, but I'm sure it will be a satisfying result. It will be nice when the shoulders don't rise up to my ears when I sit down anymore

The Indigo Invitational Battle Rag came in safely after some concerns about potential import issues to the US. Using the IHSH-361 as a mid layer and the SBG fabric is surprisingly not warm at all lol

Testing all the various ways to wear a UHF, and layering is fun with these. Crazy how warm this thing is, not a touch of cold walking the dog last night with just two layers.
Wife says "But you're going to look cuter than me at Thanksgiving this year" and I take that as quite a compliment! Although I'm obligated to disagree, I'm still proud of the recognition 
Got my IIY5 pair on, and going into the second month. They are finally starting to feel comfortable. Not IH (Simple & Raw 23oz), but I always make an effort to rock an IH piece up top when I can! Got the IHSH-62-IND Wabash on today over my "office appropriate" button up shirt (Lululemon makes pretty comfortable dress shirt btw). Received 5 compliments on the Wabash within 15 minutes of arrival at work this morning, which is more than any other shirt I've worn to work. 3 people wanted to know what brand it was, and I was almost hesitant to tell them because I don't want them to see the price and assume my salary is much higher than theirs (it isn't). Running a non-profit, I try to be conscious of those types of impressions. Anyway, I'm still very happy with the Wabash and look forward to the day when it's well faded!

Guess this is technically a WAYWY (Yesterday) photo now, but I had a nice delivery from my favorite company (any guesses?) and was especially happy with this shirt and Rototo beanie, or "Roll up hat." I even referred a newly-bald friend to the IH site today and tried to convey that he'll understand the price once he gets it in his hands, after becoming convinced myself within about 60 seconds of opening the package. This is the best beanie I've ever worn, and this is the first tubular construction shirt I've ever liked. This day turned out better than I hoped, and I think I'll keep 4/5 of the items from this shipment. The 10oz micro fleece T Shirt might be a catch and release; haven't decided yet. Either way, this was a win for me! And thank you IH staff for the buttons!
I guess we never really outgrow taking selfies in a dirty mirror. Hanging out with my wife's 98 year old grandmother tonight while the family is out at a county dinner. Doing my good husband duty with the IHSH-33-T (stealth edition) and getting some IIY5 hours in with these 23oz jeans from Simple & Raw.

@tody My participation here is more of a nod to what brought me to the field in the first place (my own addictive tendencies). Will be celebrating 10 years drug-free in two months! This is the one I never thought I'd see, especially in those months & years.
But you aren't wrong - I see a lot of similarities in the obsessive nature of IH fanboy life as I do at work. That's not a knock on fanboys btw; I'm definitely one of them.
I went with the Grant Stone Field Boot for the Open Thunderdome. Was looking for a Moc Toe for quite a while that would fit well and work both for casual and office work environments, and that was offered in a 3E width. Turns out these suit all my needs, and even better with the wedge sole for my flat feet. So far, so good!
@MSav32323 I feel that. Exactly what happened with the denim shirts and now my entire closet is dark blue and black This was a step in the direction of bringing some color back. Also, I just had to find out how it felt.
A miracle happened. Wife comes home from work, immediately notices the shirt, sees the IH tag on the pocket (knowing how expensive it is), and instead of asking if it was an eBay purchase, she says, "THAT'S your color! I love it!"
Confirmation - I chose the right one, fellas.
If this isn't the right thread for this, I apologize. For anyone else who wishes the work shirt was as slim as the western in the bottom opening - I fixed the tenting issue without undoing any seams on this one in about 10 minutes with an old domestic sewing machine. You could do it by hand too - it's only about 12 stitches on each side. Just stitch the side gussets closed! I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner, and some of you may already have, I just haven't seen it here anywhere. Super easy modification, and you can hardly tell anything is different. It's much easier than tailoring the flat-felled seam, which is another thing I've been working on with a large Wabash I'm turning into a medium in the waist. It's tricky if you want to keep the gusset for the original look. This doesn't make it look original, but it's a quick and easy solution to the too-wide waist of most of my IH shirts.
This is one of my absolute favorite shirts from IH. I kind of wish I didn't already have one so I could experience the joy of seeing it for the first time again.
Although, I don't have the other versions, so maybe it's time to get a black one?
