@WhiskeySandwich I found an unworn pair recently and they're the most comfortable Red Wings I've ever worn.

@WhiskeySandwich Certainly was lucky! if I see any I'll let you know. I think Hawthorne has become a new favourite after being unsure if I'd like it.

@indigostiff They are amazing. Sadly I think Vasque are finished now and the recent boots were nowhere near the standard of yours

@NorvilleRogers My Merchant's are the snuggest fit and my Rover and 4585 Logger are a lot more spacious but they both feel different to each other as well. I wear a Darn Tough full cushion sock in those but would be too snug in the Merchant.

@SFMCfranky Nice! the engineers are in good shape considering their age/use. Iron rangers are looking great!

@SonnyTheElder Nice! I have the C350 CS in red dog roughout. Very similar boot only yours are hand stitched and mine are machine stitched I believe. Wearing mine as I type and they're probably my most comfortable boot. Seriously chunky too!

@Gammaman I've got a pair from an older release dated 2009. They don't have the storm welt like yours. I actually found them this year listed as "vibram boot" but I recognised what they were!

@pechelman o you brush after oiling to get the nap back up?

@NorvilleRogers Love those. There do seem to be variations in boots made on the same last. I've got a few pairs on the 8 last, same size but all fit slightly different.
