@Oaktavia, I know you know how difficult it is to photograph OD. This morning we caught some flat light so I took the opportunity to start on my indigos.

Worn these 50% of the time last two months:

I just snagged a pair of the 633 in indigo. I really like this denim. It stretches and drapes nice and quick. I especially like that it’s not very hairy…even the indigo. It’s incredibly breathable for 19oz. I’ve worn my OD all summer now and happy to see the new direct-dye shedding quicker compared to my sulphur dyed SBRs . The ODs have been my daily drivers and that’s largely because of the fit. On me these are slightly more relaxed (than my other pairs) as I sized up on these due to the narrower waist. The higher rise in combination with wider dimensions through the leg, works for me
because of 633’s progressive taper from knee down. I think I am preferring this to the 888 cut….although it is very similar (for me). @kiya, any chance you’ll keep this updated higher rise to the 633 cut on future releases?

the tracks go the other way on LHT as @yannis say. think about how the cotton is spun before it goes into the loom…and the layup of the twill.

No and IH denim always looks better as it breaks in.

XL fits more like the 14IB. Looks like the winner to me!

@Miiks Right on! Good to hear you’re digging the new denim. 100%. It is soft and thick…and breathable and stretchy. Kinda best of all the things I’m leaning to these days.

@Luijim78 Seems like the EU is quite a bit hotter than the West Coast of America (and it’s been much sunnier and drier than most years I can remember). I’m wearing these 633ods almost all days. The SexSlub denim breathes remarkably well. Nothing like any 19oz I ever have. I’m not sure why others that got it aren’t immediately wearing it. I use to wear my 295ib in summers here..:sweat it out for the fades. I’m glad I don’t have to do that with these 633ods

Sounds like it is mostly like the 16oz Slub, from your prospective? Historically, I’ve not been a fan of too much slub. However, I really like that this newer heavier stuff drapes very nicely..and the lack of hariness to the denim. I might be in the minority here, but I notice that I start to really love my denim when that hair gets rubbed off (maybe there is a term for that?)

@Oaktavia I don’t have the 409, but would love to know your opinions/analysis of the two fabrics (themselves).

I’ve come to the resolve that 19oz is my sweet spot for jeans…i end up wearing/fading this weight the most on my legs…and evidently, I am all-in on the 12/14oz for tops.

Regardless, I would love to hear your insight into the differences wrt these two denims. In my mind, the 409 ib is more similar to 19L. or else more similar to the RHT 19oz SEXIH07/09 collabs? I wonder if the 409 fabric existence was borne out of SEXIH25 sampling?

@xXclown86Xx yeah, that’s too bad. You’ll have to use the code on something else. Alternatively if you want to put the effort (&$) in, you could buy at one of the retailers and send it across the pond to get upgrades. Personally, I think the stock buttons are awesome.

What size were you looking to get?

I got a couple pairs too and unfortunately, they are still too short for me. For my personal preference, the neck-hole is also a little smaller than I like. Alternatively, have you tried the UES tees? They are dimensionally perfect for me…and the slub 8’s are wow. I also noticed that on their official webstore they provide hemming services for them, which I think is quite a cool option.
