FS: IHSH-290-RED (Medium) 10oz Mock Twist Selvedge Chambray Work Shirtposted in Stuff for Sale
Love this one but it's just a little too small for me so gonna let this one go to a new home and buy it again in Large if it ever gets released again.
Measurements IH way:
- Shoulders: 17.5"
- Overall Length: 28.4"
- Chest P2P: 21.6"
- Waist: 20.3"
- Opening: 21.2"
- Sleeve Length: 25.5"
- Sleeve Opening: 3.9"
Perfect condition, but please note the chainstitch runoffs have been snipped, if you care about that. I normally leave them but the orange threads on a red shirt just doesn't work on this one, and I tended to wear it untucked due to the weight of the fabric.
$300 shipped in US, payment via Paypal F&F, Zelle or Venmo. Can ship internationally at actual cost.

RE: IHTL-1213-IND - Waffle Knit Long Sleeved Thermal Henley - Indigo Dyedposted in Cut & Sewn
@Nobunaga
Yeah I noted in my order to ask the crew to send the smallest XL they have. If that doesn’t work I’ll order a Large and ask them to send the biggest one. This is a strange shirt in that it has a full 2” gap in width between the L and the XL

RE: IHTL-1213-IND - Waffle Knit Long Sleeved Thermal Henley - Indigo Dyedposted in Cut & Sewn
@Tago-Mago I have possibly the nerdiest and the most thorough size-checking process of anyone on the forum which is why this one particular order is troubling me

I have a spreadsheet that contains the sizes of every item I own (15 of which are IH items), along with my ideal size for each measurement. I then take the measurements of items I'm looking to order and key them in, and the spreadsheet tells me how much each garment deviates from my ideal size (in inches and %), as well as what other single existing item I already own that is most similar in size to the item I'm looking at purchasing.
Where this system fails is for an item like the IHTL-1213...
- I have this shirt in L in two other colors
- For the Indigo color, the size chart seems to indicate I should wear an XL, because the P2P measurement is 21.7" (my ideal is 21.5)". My large versions of this shirt in White and Black are 21.3 and 20.9" respectively. For this shirt in Indigo the size chart says 19.7" for a Large, which is more than an inch smaller in width than the other colors
So I look at two stockists who have models wearing this shirt (below):
Franklin: The model is 5'10", 175lbs wearing a large. Shirt fits the model perfectly (other than shoulders being too wide)
Withered: The model is 6'0", 175lbs wearing a large. Shirt fits the model perfectly (again, aside from the shoulders)I am 5'9" 162, so naturally a large would be my appropriate size right? It probably would be a bit too big, since I am smaller than the models. Nope - the IH measurements guide indicates I might not even be able to get a large over my chest, and I should order an XL. Make it make sense...
I ordered the XL but I'm reasonably certain I should have just ordered the large. The XL surely cannot be an inch smaller than the same shirt in a Large in a different color...

RE: IHSH-443-IND - 7oz Cotton Linen Chambray Work Shirt - Indigoposted in Shirting
@goosehd any estimate on what it costs (approximately) to return a single shirt from US to UK?
I am between two sizes as well and wondering if its worth the return shipping cost to try both. If it's ~$15 USD then yes. If it's closer to $30 probably will just go with the Medium

Really wish the silver buttons were in stock right now. Speaking of which, what size are the buttons on this (should the silver ones get restocked later and I decide to retrofit them on at that point)?

RE: DAS - Denim Acquisition Syndromeposted in Tell us all
Cool story, and similar to my journey, in that I started with a single pair of 555S-SBG that arrived just before a trip to Japan during which I bought 13 other Japanese denim items (12 jeans and one Jacket), including the same 555-XHS that you went to right after the black.
I then took the same path as you (less stuff, but better) by unloading about $2000 worth of clothes on eBay while simultaneously going completely batshit in the other direction by buying 14 Iron Heart shirts/jackets/jeans in a 60 day period...
More is less. But also more...
Two more IH items coming my way later this week with the restocks for this week... and my current Iron Heart Wish List is 30 items. I could only fit a few in my forum signature so I just stopped bothering to update it

This rinse treatment plumps up the fabric, enhancing the herringbone pattern with a three-dimensional depth that becomes even more pronounced with wear. The result is a beautifully textured, versatile fabric that balances both style and comfort. Other details include tonal stitching, black military-spec buttons and rivets, and a premium Horween Chromexcel Cavalier Ink pull-up leather patch that offers a touch of luxury and durability to this exceptional piece. The Easy Guy is a high-rise tapered fit with a relaxed top block and a sharp taper from knee to hem.
Description from N&F of the patch upgrade
This leather is called "pull-up" because it contains a combination of transparent waxes and oils, and when stretched or pulled up the colors become lighter in the stretched areas.

Are you sure about that measurement on the 308 P2P? That is really small for an XL. In fact that is the exact P2P measurement of this shirt in size Medium. Might be interested if its accurate but I'm guessing that's a typo?

IHSH-370-BLU Medium - Trade for Large (or a 376 in M or S)posted in Stuff to Trade
The Medium is just a little too small for me, so looking to trade this for a Large if anyone needs to size down.
Would also consider trade for the work shirt version IHSH-376 but that would need to also be a medium or a small, since they run larger than the western.
Not looking to trade for anything else in this case.

!

Shoulders: 17.0"
Length: 26.0"
Chest (Pit to Pit): 21.0"
Waist: 19.8"
Opening: 19.5"

Sleeve Opening: 3.9" -
RE: Headed to Japan - holler at me with tipsposted in General Chat
IH main store in Tokyo is a looong way from Tokyo proper, so not really worth the trip unless you have a lot of days in the city. On the other hand if you're in Osaka that location is much more convenient
Have fun on the slopes, I was just in Sapporo but didn't have time to ski. Bought some denim though!

RE: How to avoid fades? :-)posted in General Chat
@TwoHearted313
This is a great call out, I just posted in the “things we should make” thread just a couple of days ago how I wish there was a version of the XHSIB that was non-fade…I will get a pair of the non-fade black jeans once my SBG start to fade, but the XHSIB is literally the most beautiful denim in the entire world. To see it start fading would be such a disappointment.

Type III SLB jacket is on my list, yepHaven’t seen anything short sleeve from IH that I have to have so far. Really unfortunate because I live in Florida, so it’s gonna be hard to rep any of this stuff in the summer.

RE: Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?posted in Future and Planned Products
@Go-For-Chill
That is such an interesting take, I literally bought the duck pants in the 666 fit just to get that patch, even though I don’t like the fit as much as the 555 and 777.Every time I put them on, I think “damn these would look a lot better in a 555“ but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get the three 6 patch on a pair of pants.

RE: Iron Heart Products - What do you think we should make?posted in Future and Planned Products
Just a few ideas of items I think would be cool to see, as well as some colorways I'd love in just the normal UHF Western/Work style.
For some of these I added a render that sort of represents how this looks in my head.- Project RE:LOVE Camera Straps. Superblack Fades to Grey as an option in addition to Indigo, please!
- Project RE:LOVE Pet collars. 3/4" to 1" width, various lengths. Would have all three of my cats geared up accordingly if this was a thing. Again, SBG option is a must!
- Denim/Duck/Oxford caps but with patches from the jeans. I would love an IH hat with the 555 or 666 jeans patch on it.
- IH leather messenger bag. A nice neutral brown or maybe even deerskin. Duck canvas or flannel interior lining. The cool thing about this is if you make the Re:Love camera straps I mentioned above they're interchangeable with messenger bag straps
- UHF in Deebo pattern. Surely this has already been requested before, but I didn't read all 15,000 posts...
- UHF in a deep maroon colorway, maybe maroon plus darker maroon, and tan
- UHF in a black watch tartan colorway (navy/hunter/black)
- XHSib in a non-fade version... if that's even possible
- IH Alpaca wool blankets in darker UHF patterns. Blacks, Browns. I have an alpaca wool blanket from Shinola and its the softest fabric I've ever felt. Would love one of these with a nice tartan pattern and an Iron Heart tag

@Jord 100%. I bought something like 12 or 13 pairs of jeans when i was in Japan in December and since I got home with them I've worn non-IH for a total of 4 days. Two days on some Oni's and two days (including today) on a pair of Samurai's
