Went through the closet and found that since I’ve quit drinking (mostly), my medium UHFs fit again. Feeling ready for winter now [emoji123]
Also just got my 633S back from Rain, now with an ironclad crotch! Damn it feels good to be back in my favorite pair.

FEDEX guy shows up this morning at 9:30 with my PIH-XHS jeans. I see him coming so I go to the door to meet him,he hands me the thing to sign. To my surprise I ask him “I have to sign?” He looks surprised
and says Yes! At which point I remind him that the signature requirement had been removed. He looks back down at the package and say’s your right, hands it to me,and walks away. Good thing I happened to be home,as he probably wouldn’t have left it,thinking it needed to be signed for. Jeans are amazing by the way.

Japan just can't catch a break. Looks like i'll be calling my mom as this one is fairly close to where she lives up in northern Honshu. Luckily, no tsunami warnings.

I originally posted this in Runners on August 20, 2018. This will be my second and final post regarding this event.
I am running the Yorkshire Marathon which is taking place in York on Sunday October 14th 2018. I am taking part in this event because I find setting achievable personals goal for myself, such as this, helps me to stay focused and motivated over the weeks of preparation and training, particularly on the difficult days when the weather is far from ideal or when I feel tired.
I went to Broadway Lodge for treatment of the disease of addiction, something I'd suffered with for a number of years. After leaving Broadway in August 2009, I moved to Bristol where I lived and worked until March 2013. After Bristol I moved to Trowbridge, got married and took up running and haven't stopped running since.
I am so grateful for what there is in my life today which I didn't have prior to attending Broadway Lodge. Broadway Lodge was fundamental in guiding me towards who I am today. Through completion of primary and secondary stages, I gained what I needed to go to Bristol, a new city to me, and engage with life whilst continuing to grow as a person. I site the foundation I gained at the Lodge as the bedrock on which my life now rests.
To run the marathon to raise funds and awareness for Broadway Lodge seems a natural thing for me to do. Any money I raise that may help another person get the support they need is well worth 26.2 miles of my own blood sweat and tears.
Thank you in advance for your support, I am grateful for any donations to help me raise money for Broadway Lodge.
