talking about older movies i watched Purple Rain & Urban Cowboya few nights ago, really long story & it's amazing the amount of violence against women which was acceptable in flicks. Both awesome movies as I'm a romantic who loves lace, purple, mechanical bulls & cowboy boots . .. .

That is a pair of classics. Very influential movies, fashion-wise. Both terrible, but awesome at the same time.
And yeah, a disturbing amount of violence toward women. Nice that society's changed enough that it's shocking to us.

I watched Blade Runner for the bajillionth time the other night, and I must say, for a cyberpunk like myself, that this is the finest sci-fi film ever made.

I just took delivery of one of the most beautiful items of clothing that it has ever been my pleasure to hold, and it does not fucking fit as I am currently in winter storage/ hibernation/ fatty mode.
Therefore I have decided to quadruple my alcohol budget for December. You can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs
