My state is one of a few where horse slaughter and processing for human consumption is legal. It's a very contentious issue with radicals on both sides of the fence. There was an entire issue of an awesome Okie underground newspaper about it.

now i know eating horse meat isn't really d'accord with some, but thinking about eating a lovely little dog is just a tad too much (not want to get into that cultural thing since i know some do eat dog meat and other great animals…)...dog is too much for me as well buddy

the only "dog" i'd eat would be a "hot dog" but that's about it
