BIRKENSTOCK-Last for decades, hidden… but shown here on IH.

@Johnnyutah247 that’s when I kick them off. If I’m around water then they are off.
I never soak them…a little water and they should be fine and no different than being caught in the rain.
-
@catdad1 I noticed these too. They are intriguing. They are most definitely going to handle the weather and elements better, but that's what I use my crocs for. These are definitely better looking for going out though. I think I'd prefer leather, all things considered.
-
@goosehd Yeah, thanks. Like I said, I'm not looking for a pair of water shoes, that's what I use my ugly crocs for. The Arizona's look to be versatile enough to wear to the beach, and also a dinner by the beach.

I tend to wear the EVAs at the beach and the Arizonas pretty much everywhere else. I don’t like to have to think too much about what I’m wearing on my feet when I’m around the water. I’m getting more forgetful in my old age.
-
I have really mistreated my Arizonas when it comes to not getting them wet. They probably deteriorated faster because I got them wet. But overall, they held up and I wouldn’t lose sleep over getting them a little wet. Just don’t submerge them in water.

Anyone know of a place in the UK that will re-sole Birks?

I can confirm usefulness of Arizona for beach access with this live update shot from the shore of Largo Maggiore. For beach I use these camo ones in fake leather..
-
Why did you post a blank picture?
-
@endo Those look great for trails!
Out with the old and in with the new! Although the old ones will still be used for pre/post work commutes

How does everyone size their Arizona's? I'm a 10 in my Wesco Mr Lou's but realistically should be a 10.5. In viberg I take a 10. In red wing and Alden Indy the same thing. In standard American athletic shoes like Nike running shoes I take an 11. In converse and vans I wear 10.5
I am 90% leaning towards the 10-10.5 option.

@Johnnyutah247
I am between a 10.5 and 11 in nike depending on the shoe and 10.5 in vans and chucks and am 43 in birks. When you get them with your heel in the heel cup your toes shouldn't touch the raised lip. Hope this helps. -
@Johnnyutah247 best way is to go by your mondo point, Birkenstock is very accurate to that.

My faded purple, London’s on holiday in France. Also pictured 25oz 555s. Hard work in 30c!

I’m an 11.25 Brannock and I wear size 44 Arizonas. I wear 45 in the Bostons which I mostly wear in the winter with socks.
