I and SKT need the Chiefs and Bengals to win,which would make the Chiefs the number 1 seed. Bills/Bengals could/should be a really great game. Denver is such an unbelievable mess right now,but they fired the coach and sometimes that can galvanize a team,and they’d love to knock off one of their divisional rivals.

For our Fantastic Four to stay alive we needed The Chiefs,49ers and the Eagles to win. The Raiders took the 49ers to overtime,but couldn't close the deal,which gets @SKT and myself to the last week of the season. The Denver Broncos gave the Chiefs all they could handle,but they too could not close the deal and @scooter also heads into next week. But alas The Saints came marching in and they closed the deal and sent @pmadison95 home. One more week to go before the playoffs.

Driving my children to school in Pittsburgh we'd be passed by pickups and cars with Baltimore flags, people hanging out the windows screaming ::)just like the games now I think of it

Oddly I had the Bengals / Bills game on tonight. Hard to watch. Prayers.

I was on my way home from NYC last night at about 9:30 and I get a notification that there’s a post in The American Football thread,and I see this and think @scooter is happy that his prayers have been answered by The Chiefs winning. In the mean time,I’ve been trying to check the score on The Bengals/Bills game and it’s been locked at 7-3 since I started my trip home,and the time stamp for the score hasn’t changed either. I keep refreshing my phone to no avail. I have no idea as to what’s happened. I get home and I had been taping the game and start watching it from the beginning. Just devastating. Don’t know what else to say. Don’t know if the lack of an update is good or bad.

@SKT Not sure if you saw the press conference with the doctors,but he woke up and he couldn't speak as he still,at that time,had the breathing tube. The gave him something to write on and he wrote…"Did we win?" to which the nurse replied you won the game of life. He's since had the tube removed and had a video visit with his teammates.

@SKT and @scooter In light of what happened this week in the NFL,I don’t,much,feel like making a pick. Not sure how you guys are feeling,but I thought maybe we should take this week off and pick up again when the playoffs start. What do you guys or,anyone else think?
If it wasn't already apparent, I had no problem with waiting for the playoffs, to make the next pick. For what it's worth, I'd have been all in on the 49ers, this week…

Great to hear how well Damar Hamlin is doing, and the playoffs start this Saturday. Everyone ready to get back into it. Same rules,just pick one team to win or lose. @steelworker @Alex @SKT @Twistlock @scooter @pmadison95 and I know I’m missing a few as well as anyone else who wants to get in on it. I’m riding the 49ers all the way to the Superbowl. @Matt

I think the Niners are firing on all cylinders. I’ll pick the Chargers just to switch it up.
The Chargers were the only road team that I thought would win,but I think they had some injuries in the last game. Maybe Bosa and Williams. If the Chargers win(Assuming Bills and Bengals win) they would play The Chiefs next week. Would probably rather see Jacksonville have to go to KC.
