So maybe a sample or one off or a fake. But I don’t see anything like it in other colors either . Like chore mechanics coat

I was looking at these the other day after a hint that there may be more chore coats on the way.

Personally (although I understand they are different beasts), I think these pale into insignificance compared to the spec of this earlier example (with maybe the exception of the cuffs):

does anyone else who carries a pocket knife in their front pockets have most of their western and type 3 jacket hems catch on the clip?
Any tricks for avoiding this? At best it's annoying and worst it disengages the knife clip from the pocket entirely.

I stopped carrying because I was tired of not being able to comfortably put my hands in my pockets. The only time I carry a knife is in Beatle Busters since the internal knife picket keeps it upright and out of the way. Have I mentioned Busters before? Great cut in case anyone’s wondering.

@Matt I’ve been wondering about them as I’ve seen them discussed as a fit, but then also see BB (maybe Black warp/Black weft yarn?) as part of several bottoms item codes and wondered if it was a fabric used across multiple fits. Do you (or anyone) have any insight on this? Thanks…

@sophisto000 Beatle Busters were a now defunct IH jeans cut.

The lot number was IHxB01-???, where ??? was the fabric. I have the IHxB01-SBG and IHxB01-UHRi n my closet somewhere.

Calling them BB’s was forum slang and predated the «BB» fabric.

BB- «14oz black warp/black weft selvedge denim. The warp is black sulphur rope dyed, the weft is black sulphur dipped»

SBG- «This denim has a black sulphur dyed warp and a black reactive dyed weft. With time the warp will fade but the weft won't.»

SBG fades with more contrast. As far as I can recall, SBG has been done in different fabric weights, while BB has been restricted to 14oz so far. SBG has been around for years and years, BB is relatively new.
