Very possibly. The very first Wabash we did in 2010/11, we made into IH-811. Haraki was not 100% happy with it, so he reworked it and released IH-814 a year or so later. I suspect he used the original wabash for the IHC-10. Certainly looks like it....

    See here for a comparison.

Ah, okay gotcha G, thanks. As soon as I took the IHC-10 from the box, I thought hmm...this looks different. The way the "regular" Wabash fades is more of a cool toned, darker blue compared to the warmer toned, more dramatic fades of the older one. I think you are correct in your suspicion. Both warp and weft appear to be different from one another.

Any chance for the 25oz indigo denim to be released in the 1955 cut?

@Oaktavia dude. Love how your wabash cap is fading. Almost like a prussian blue with the slight yellow hue

It was actually given to me by the legendary @Clint_D and it was faded this way out of the box. But yeah, it seems to have a warmer tone compared to the other Wabash that we see much more of around here. It seems to be the old Wabash that was releases first. In person, they look even more different.

I'm pretty sure that cap was made from the same wabash as the IHSH-55 run of wabash material like G was saying. I'm pretty sure I have a pair of cut off 811's like Giles' pair somewhere though not nearly as well faded!

Has there been any talk of doing a XHS 1955?

its been discussed, and it may well happen next XHS factory run

Is there a way you say how old a pair of 634S are when they don't have lined pockets?

@RobeOfTheMagi I don’t think there is. Do you want a specific year or just a general time frame?

Rather the last time when the pockets were still unlined. So the youngest reference I guess.

Pretty sure that 634s pockets remain unlined to this day. The pattern just doesn’t call for it.

Thank you both :). I did not know that.

                            Edit:

But that must mean the indigo version. My black pair has lined pockets (and a selvedge fly).

                              Shirt tuckers:

Have you had any experience with indigo transferring from the inside of your waistband to your shirt? Do you usually wait until a certain point in the fade-life of your denim before you tuck a white shirt into them?

Really wanting to tuck my new off-white 414 into my jeans so I can wear it to work, but I'd be crushed if it became a tuck-only piece.

                                Leg lengths

I can’t be the only one but are leg lengths getting shorter? I have just washed my 21oz 777 from the latest batch and I can only get a small single cuff. I like to have a Tokyo cuff and could only just manage before a wash and then only with certain footwear otherwise it would look like my trousers were too short! I am 6’2” so not a giant either. Personally would like a minimum of 37”. Seeing as most people seem to get them hemmed judging by secondhand sizes can’t see this being an issue?

One of the answers I've come across regarding the shorter length on the 777's is that having them longer (37") and hemming them affects the overall taper and could be the reason that we are seeing 35.5" lengths. This is pure speculation at this point and will keep reading through the various posts.

I would be extremely surprised if inseams are getting shorter, and if they were it would be reflected in the sizing chart upon restock . For any given model they will be what we originally specced them to be. But they do vary between 33.5 and 37 depending on model and articulated in the sizing chart. In fact some models have a longer inseam the larger the waist. Making all bottoms 37+ would mean we get fewer jeans per roll, so we tread a line between utility and price.
