Hello all,

I'm new to IH but not raw denim and menswear. I'm looking for some advice on the best place to sell menswear (Harris Tweed sportcoats, vintage leather jackets, Gustin jeans, RW Beckman, Barbour jackets) online. I don't have a lot, maybe 10-12 items. I'm not so fortunate to have a menswear consignment shop near me here in rural Ohio. Also happy for any advice experienced sellers want to offer. Thanks.

Don't know how much of a market there will be for Harris Tweed, but you could do worse than using the Marketplace on this forum for the rest of the gear you mention.

No you can sell any brand of gear on the forum here.

Grailed is another option but beware that.Grailed takes a cut and there can be a lot of lowballers on Grailed.

Depends on what weight you are going for.  If you are going for a nice light or midweight I like Pistol Lake.  If you are going for heavier then definitely Iron Heart.

For layering I get them from LL Bean. The cotton and thermal ones. They currently have a 20%off promotion running. Obviously not IH quality etc.

I like those, however, I'm leaning towards a cotton henley over a thermal one. Tough call because I really dig the black and the grey thermals.

They are both 100% cotton.

Check out Pistol Lake.  Their "heavyweight" henley is nice and probably more of a midweight by our standards.  Their regular henleys are very nice too but much lighter.

how did you size on your henley from Pistol Lake? I'm eyeing the burnt taupe organic cotton henley but wasn't sure on sizing. I'm thinking i'd stick with my usual size large which I wear for tees

I bought 2 from them and decided to go a size larger than usual, and based on their size chart, went with XL. Got charcoal and clay.

the organic cotton henley is described as washed/preshrunk, so I don't know if i'd want to size up. I don't own any henleys, otherwise, i'd compare with their size chart

I'm just guessing that these are a slimmer more fitted cut than the LL Beans that I'm used to wearing.
