How long do large shipments like this one usually take to get to you from JP?  Or, more to the point, when do you think this shipment will arrive now that it's back on track?

3-4 days normally.  I expect that we will get this delivered Friday.  It has now left Korea (went to Korea from China), I suspect next stop is Germany before arriving in UK.  Because I raised a fuss at UPS, I do have a customer service agent tracking the shipment too, to try and pre-empt any other delays.  Having said all that, if British Customs decide to open every box and snoop around that will create a delay which no one can stop

Finn, without trying to belabour the point.  It was supposed to be a joke, the implication being that if they came through Switzerland, Ruedi would steal them for the museum, thus the next time I would see any of this delivery was when I next visited Zurich…..
