@yannis haha I hear ya I swear I had one a few years ago and have seen them on patches somewhere on here before. I can't explain it.

@Daysleepers It definitely looks like it was done at home. Extra holes and what look like scratches around the holes. Which is what happened to my patch when I tried sewing it on. I kept missing the holes and fucking it up I just gave up and after I realized it wasn't happening.

Looks like our standard 21oz patch, which is not used for 25oz jeans.....So should never have been stamped IH-666-XHS

haha the anarchy @Matt mwahaha, There were a bunch of misprints that we have here, and I’ve started keeping a very small collection from reloves or from people who wanted the leather tab removed and they dont want. That way, if someone damages the patch for any reason, I can usually replace it with something similar for them. I can’t always guarantee the exact same patch, but I normally give customers a couple of close options to choose from.

Josh should start an undercover criminal service where he will replace your patch with a misprint one for a small fee. They'll become collectable like double stamped coins.

@JoshC just a thought: Could you overstamp misprints (xxx them out) to avoid confusion in the future? Anything crossed out would automatically suggest a replaced leather patch in the future.

I agree, but when something is too good to be true, it usually is. And the pricing is so ridiculous, that it is very very too good to be true. So frankly, I despair of anyone who falls for it....At the very least, you would think someone would do a little research and conclude it was a scam....

I noticed this jacket for sale used - searched on the image and searched here for a bit of history and facts on it. Only found one other in a Japanese store online. No brown nylon coach or flight jackets seem to register here on a search. Is it IH or a knock off?

Could be kosher. We have done a number of brown coach jackets over the years. We may not have described them as "Coach Jackets" at the time. In the early days, we often did not bring them outside of Japan because they did not sell very well internationally.
