Just received this vest yesterday,  there's something about IH's OD'ed gear that's truly awesome. Such a versatile piece. I'll finally be able to go triple denim'ed 

Love that Iron Heart has never compromised on the length of their cuts  (vests, jackets, and shirts) I could never get any clothing of quality in a longer length until I found IH.

I've got a gift voucher burning a hole in my pocket, and a strange desire to get my sewing kit out and put some patches on something. Noting the last restock seemed to be just a few items, any idea when a more substantial restock is anticipated? I think I'd probably be an XL (my IH type III size).

@EdH where are you located? IH Germany has all the sizes in stock! At IHUK it had been recently restocked so my guess is that it will take a while..

Yes indeed just a quick hand sew for each of them. I also have an 888 octopus patch but it's trickier has lots of curves.

I have an XXL I bought from IHUK (I got the only one] late last year that I’ll be selling in the next week or two. It’s slightly too big for me so I bought a replacement from Self Edge in XL. I’ve probably worn it less than three days total over a hoodie, it’s essentially new.

Weird question: Has anyone else found these to be fairly uncomfortable around the arms? I now have an XXL and an XL. The XL fits perfect in terms of shoulders, chest and length. However, if I have my arms raised straight out the fabric around the arm hole digs into my tricep/armpit. I’ve noticed that the fabric between the edge of the armhole and breast pocket gets scrunched up on both sides when my arms are raised forward.

It’s not very comfortable and I’m really confused as to what causes this, the shoulder looks perfect and the chest isn’t too tight. I’m a pretty skinny guy and do NOT have big arms. I’m pretty bummed, these were expensive and it wasn’t immediately obvious. The weird part is none of my other IH jackets have this problem. Anyone else have this?
