Forgot how lovely this fabric is once it's had the OD treatment. Could be on the cards as a lighter alternative to my lefty!

@AdamJ I can only confirm that this jacket is absolute nuts. Seems to be underrated as most people seem to strive for the heavyweight stuff. But it's perfect to layer through all seasons and the fade potential is fantastic. That said due to the overdyed process and IH typical ruggedness it feels much heavier than most other 14oz denims to me...

This one is getting a lot of autumn love lately. It‘s going slower than I expected. But I still dig the patina it developed so far. However, I am quite happy that it‘s keeping the black dye so well yet. Otherwise I would be in need of a black Type 3 (SBG!) very soon🖤

Long time lurker here looking at purchasing this beauty soon. I was just wondering if the sleeves on this jacket are much longer than the other Type 3s, the measurements seem super long. I'm from Sydney so the only store I can try on IH jackets only has medium in the 12oz Whipcord IHJ-121-IND and the medium sleeves were already pretty long but managable. I'm worried about buying the OD without trying on may result in my t-rex arms being engulfed lol! Anyone found the sleeves to be on the longer side due to OD process or make of this specific model?

The arms on the 14oz are definitely longer than many of our other type III's.....

@Poonamii0610 I find the sleeve on the longer side as while and I have also rather short arms. They sleeves „shortened“significantly though after a few months of wear as the elbow combs used up quite a lot of the extra fabric. Now the length seems to be quite right😀

Has the body length shortened up also?

@bobbyg not really as the shortening on the sleeve is due to folding of the elbow combs and there is no permanent folds in the core area

Right on, I kind of figured it was just from the sleeve creases.
Still going back and forth on this model. I tried one on and the fit was so perfect but I’m kind of holding out for the 526LOD.. I’m covered for 14oz indigo and want a black jacket, and want to try a heavyweight 😎
I’m sure I’d be happy with it but could see myself buying the 526LOD if I get a chance and it’s similar enough to this model that I’m not sure I’d rock both enough to justify it 🙄 decisions, decisions.

Finally some signs of wear. At least in the right lightning. This jacket seems underrated and I am curious to see how it is finally looking heavily faded.
