You know best for yourself, but I’d be concerned about the length on a large. You seem tall and losing an inch off the front length may look odd.

Another thing worth bearing in mind:
All IH gear and especially duck changes with wear and forms itself to the body of the wearer. The hem on this shirt will crease upwards, losing length, the arms will shorten with wear and the material will soften considerably. It will suit you even better when you make it «yours».

People come in many different sizes and shapes and not everyone’s fit can be replicated. Best of luck whatever you decide.

Fall in MN means it's Duck weather. I love the heft of the CPO pockets. this is a perfect shirt/layering piece.
