That said of assessed and evaluated a couple of points a) the measurements of a pair of Stevensons overalls officer pants I own with similar measurements, and a 38 should be ok…b) Just how much do I value my testicles if my good wife finds out I bought another item of clothing this month. I'll have to leave it to the Norns to decide whether there are 38s left anywhere in a few weeks

@Giles hey thanks for the response. I believe you got a winner with the 816 and I’m am obsessed with it as I have said before in this forum (I have 8 pairs in various fabrics) the new name had me a tad nervous ️️

I've got one of these on the way. The thigh is just a tad slimmer than I'd prefer, but it's more likely than not that it'll work out. Considering how great this color goes with black and brown, I'm really hoping that it fits well.

Due to the time difference, and my fear that this would sell out supah quick, I was up at 2AM corresponding with Adam and measuring pants in dim light to make sure I got a fit that would work

Anyone pairing these up with engineer boots? I’d like to be the hem seems like it would be too narrow.

I can see that. The size based proportions of a boot shaft won’t track with the changes in hem width. I guess which kind of Engineer you wear will make a difference. I feel like I can get away with a slimmer calf and hem over Engineers with a slimmer last or tapered toe like Wesco’s MP. But a true boss toe requires a wider legged jean. That is a personal thing though.
